Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was updated recently and follows new industry practices and the faculty members are decent. There are some professors who are passionate about their field of study and research.
Placement Experience
NSUT is known for its placements. We get all the big names like Google, Facebook, Adobe and many many more. The highest package goes in crores and the highest domestic package is somewhere around 60 lahks INR. Around 200 companies visit our campus for placements every year and almost every student gets a job in some or the other sector. Top most students bag packages above 50 lahks INR.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee has gone up exponentially but so had the exposure in my college. Dept topper gets a 100% waiver on his tuition fees and there are other various scholarships for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories.
Campus Life
This is the prime aspect of NSUT. We have a lot of active societies like drama, music, debate and even tech teams. They make our college happen and increase our social and professional circles/networks. The library is air-conditioned and boasts a calm and chill environment of focus work. The first-year classrooms look like 5-star hotels. Moksha, the annual cultural fest, is one of the best college fests in Delhi.
Admission
I had to prepare for and give JEE and then I applied through JAC Delhi counselling. The choice of filling part could have been made a little easier for some students who don't have much experience working with computers.
