What Students Say
Likes
- The library, its books and the reading room.
- Certain teachers and members of the faculty who are considerate and helpful
Dislikes
- A few rude or impolite people /teachers that you prefer not to interact with
- Less number of teachers and classrooms as compared to the number of students admitted in the college in each course. The ratio is too less
Course Curriculum Overview
I had taken up commerce with maths in class 11 and 12 and had an interest in that field. So I took up B.Com (hons) for my grad level degree. The course is good and the teachers are okay. We had fewer months to complete the semester and so everything was rushed. We are expecting to give our exams tomorrow (ie, 27th February)onwards.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are reasonable and there are ample scholarships available for people from weaker economic backgrounds. I am not aware of the names of all the schemes and scholarships but have a rough idea about them.
Campus Life
The social life is good. There are a lot of societies and clubs one can join according to their interests and hobbies. The infrastructure available is also commendable. The libraries have a lot of resourceful material and the reading room is well-built. There's a well maintained sports ground too.
Admission
We had to give CUET(Common University Entrance test) to get admission to colleges of any central university (DU in this case) this year. Other requirements included having passed class 10th and 12th board exams. The conduct of the exam could have been better but since it was done for the first time, the preparations were a little underdone. Otherwise, the online website(Samarth) was easy to navigate and User friendly.
