Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and faculty members are very good. I chose this course because I was from a commerce background and I chose commerce in 11th standard. The Faculty: student ratio is 3:1. The faculty is highly qualified and the teaching method is also very good. Term exams were very timely. And it was not much difficult to pass them.

Internships Opportunities

We have many internship opportunities that are offered to the students. Name of the companies are Reliance, Jio, and Mahindra and they offer roles like Marketing Head, Sales Intern, HR, and many more. And their minimum stipend is 25k per month.

Placement Experience

Placements in our college are very good. The students become eligible for campus placements in 3rd semester. Tata, Mahindra, and Reliance are a few companies that visited and they offered us many offers. The highest package was from Tata and its value was 10lacs per annum and the lowest package was of 1Lac per annum. I'll be pursuing CMA after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is good. Scholarships are also there. Fees hike policy is good. My friend got a job on campus with a stipend of 20000/- per month.

Campus Life

Campus life is really good. Making friends is very easy and the infrastructure is also very good. We have different clubs and societies in our college. Our cultural fest's name is Aarohan and it happens every year in the month of February. They have all the books and journals available in the library. We have many sports in our college like volleyball, football, cricket, basketball, etc. Rotaract, phoenix, and raaga are some societies for students run by students.

Admission

The admission process was very easy. I got admission through percentage criteria. The minimum percentage was 70% for my course. You'll get everything on the university portal. Didn't avail any reservation benefit.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

PGDAV is best in terms of facilities

Students often choose PGDAV College because of its affordable fees structure and as it is affiliated with University of Delhi. It also offers various undergraduate courses like bcom hons, BA, etc. It is located in south Delhi and has decent connectivity via public transportation. The cut offs are slightly lower than other colleges of north campus. Like most Colleges of DU, admission here is on the basis of merit but now according to New Education Policy it is based on Cuet scores. Du releases cut of list in several rounds, students who meet the criteria can apply for admission. After selecting the college students need to verify their documents by the college.
