What Students Say
Likes
- Evergreen campus that provides a healthy environment.
- Various fest and clubs of college which always help us to improve extracurricuraly
Dislikes
- Due to govt college there are some issues in working of lab instruments but its adjustable
- There are no other thing that I dislike about the college
- Just if they can improve the overall infractructure (Irs improving) but in a speedy way.
Course Curriculum Overview
Due to my interest in electronics and tech, I took this course, the faculty-student ratio is decent about 20:120 and also the faculties are highly qualified, and have good teaching methods, the exams were moderate.
Internships Opportunities
Accenture, Tata Consultancy Service, ISRO, Harsha Engineers, Samsung, and there are various other internship opportunities online where we can intern and earn a good stipend. So the internship and placement opportunities are quite good, and the ROI(Return on Investment) is very high due to negligible fees.
Placement Experience
The students are available for placements from the 3rd year only also eligible for the internship programs, about 80% of the students of our college are placed, and the average package is about 6-8 LPA which is way better keeping in mind as a govt college and the highest package that went was about 1Cr.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study is very low as LDCE is a govt college and we can get the benefit of various scholarship schemes like MYSY but unfortunately, I couldn't avail of its benefit, the reason is still unknown to me.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is the most fascinating life that I had experienced till now, there are lots and lots of cultural, tech, and non-tech events ongoing on the college campus and it's my pleasure to be part of it. Secondly, LDCE gives you the best evergreen campus that you will find in the city of A'bad and that too as far as govt college is concerned.
Admission
The admission process is conducted by the Admission Council for Proffessional Courses(ACPC). So the admission was based on 50-50 %criteria of both, the boards and the state entrance test called GUJCET. The cutoff in LDCE was quite high the CS branch was closed at about 500, IT at about 1500 and my branch at about 2500 ( Approx. data). So for the admission process, we need to register ourselves at the ACPC site and then they inform us of the further processes via messages and emails, then we get to fill in the choices as per our field and then several rounds are organized and then the process is conducted further.
