Dislikes
- Due to a govt college there are some issues in the working of laboratary equipments but thats adjustable.
- The mess of hostel doesnt have a taste that the students would love so hosteliers would have to find another options near about the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview
So I choose this course as I had a keen interest in coding and tech but also had a passion for electronics, I found it to be fascinating, and EC is like a versatile branch and that is why I went for this course. The faculty-student ratio is quite good, we have nearly about 20 faculties for a class of 120 intakes. The faculties are highly qualified and have the best of their knowledge in their respective fields. The Mid Sem exams are conducted after nearly about 2 months after the sem begins, and the end semesters exams are conducted after the term ends.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of particularly our college is very low as is a govt. College. The fee for every course in our college is 1500/- year for boys and null for girls. And if the student avails the Tuition Fee waiver scheme benefit he/she also avails of the null fee benefit. There are various scholarship schemes like MYSY and several other schemes which we can apply for and get their benefits. And the campus-placed jobs are also great.
Campus Life
Campus life is full of joy and better learning. Every day comes with new hope and new idea. And that is what fascinates the most. And the best part is that we are not restricted to only our department, the students of all departments work together and have the best time. Talking about the clubs that LDCE offers is; LDCE has various clubs and each club is unique we have clubs that cover tech, nontech as well as social fields. For tech we have a club called Roboccon LDCE, then Innovators Club which is a fusion of Tech and Non-Tech, and NSS and NCC as social clubs, and many more such clubs are there for the students by which they can develop themselves extracurricular.
Admission
After passing 12th, and getting the results, the admission process is carried out by ACPC (Admission Council for Professional Courses). After we get our results they regularly update us on what to do next via emails and messages once we register ourselves for the admission process. The admission in our college which is LDCE was based on 50% criteria which were of boards and a state entrance test called GUJCET. The cutoff for our college is slightly high as LDCE is a premier Govt. College of the state. The cutoff for CS was around 500, for IT it was about 1500 and for EC, Mechanical it was around 3000 ranks respectively. As a female student, I did avail the benefits of the MYSY Scholarship Scheme
