- College Mess are in bad condition having dirtiness and low quality of food
- There is a language barrier among students ie. Gujarati and other Language Students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Electrical Engineering Course as there is more scope in Government PSUs in this field. There are many faculty members in our branch among them many are IIT, and NIT Post Graduated. Some of the Faculties have the best teaching methods and techniques with practical examples. In Each Sem of 6 months, 2 Exams are taken-Mid Sem and End Sem(External).
Internships Opportunities
I got an Internship at Powerlite Electricals an Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Company in GIDC NARODA Ahmedabad at a Stipend of rupees 10000 per month. I got the responsibility of creating the design of schematics and wiring diagrams for switchgear panels such as HV, LV, drive, and PLC panels and Billing of Materials. I got very good knowledge and experience at the Internship which proved to be very helpful on the Job.
Placement Experience
From Semester 7th Students get Eligible for Company Placements. This year Average Package offered was 5 lac. And the Highest Package was 10 lac. Many Famous Companies visit our College for Recruitment like Reliance, Adani, TCS, Torrent, MG Motors etc. The percentage of Placement was about 50-60%. I am planning the preparation for Different Government Exams after getting the Degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our College Annual Fees taken which is around Rupees 2200 and Exam fees is around rupees 800. As such scholarship is not provided by the college, but we have a few External Scholarships like MYSY, DIGITAL GUJARAT etc.
Campus Life
Various Annual Cultural and Tech Fests are organized by our College and University. LAKSHYA is a great Fest conducted by Our College during the Month of May having various Technical and Cultural Events. And a National Level Cultural Fest "XITIJ" fest conducted by Gujarat Technological University. There are Various Famous Clubs in our College too like Robocon, Adventure Club, Prakalpa, Dhanak Club Etc.
Admission
I took admission on the basis of my JEE Mains Score through ACPC counselling (free of cost). There is one more way of getting admission ie. GUJCET. But through JEE Mains Score there are few seats only as it is on all India Quota. All types of regular reservations are present in seat allocation. I hope that more seats should be given in the All India Quota on the basis of JEE Mains Score.
