B.Com is one of the most reputed courses of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, faculty of this college is very supportive, teachers are always on time and they take classes regularly. All the teachers are very well qualified. all the semester exams are conducted timely as well as they are a little bit difficult to pass.

ENCODE - The Internship cell of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is really very active. They provide internship opportunities to all first second and third-year students. Companies like the big four and other consulting firms visit the college as well as the placement cell also helps the students to get internships.

The placement cell of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is very active. The average placement is five lakh Per annum, the highest placement is 23,00,00 per annum, lowest placement is 2.5,00,00 per annum. Companies like Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, EY, BYJU'S, Accenture, DE Shaw, etc. visit the college for placement. Around 80% of students who sat in the placement interview got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very affordable. This is one of the best features of Delhi University and most of the colleges have very fewer fees like for BCom. My first-year fee was 7855 rupees but in the second year, it increased to Rs.11,000. College also offers scholarships to unprivileged students as well as there are many sports scholarships also. The placement cell of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is very active. We can say One of the best placement cells in the entire Delhi University.

Campus Life

The campus life Is good like we have a small campus but the crowd is very genuine. There are many societies in our college like sports Society, fashion Society, dance Society, music society and many more as well as we have a library which is one of the biggest libraries of Delhi University. College has two canteens, one tennis court, one basketball court, one cricket ground, and two volleyball courts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
