Mixture of good and bad

College management is overall good the only thing biet has to improve is placements and the office peoples rudeness be polite to the students they are asking your help not money everyone has thsre own probs so understand and yeah at one time biet had a good review on olacements but now its notgings so olease improve placement s and make students settle into there life done do money making things in the college its a college which is equal to temple so please stop money making and understand students

I took cet and my rank was around 10k so i choose be in biotechnology as i had intrest in biology and hated maths obvio the one who hates maths joins biitechnology and davangere was near to my city so i choose this college which later on made me regrear

Course structure is good but there the facukties especially in biotechnology exceot hod no one knows the teaching skills you cannot expect much more from them and research yeah for 3 years you will sit idiolly and at the last year suddenly you have to become a researcher and do research on the project comolete it but if you have got a good guide then you are lucky he ll choose topic he ll do everything but if its wise versa then your goin to be dead we had to make.

No they dont provide any internship, none of the company is coming to take you for internshio no stipend nothing if you want to do an internship then comolete it in 1 month and dont miss the class attendence is taken tooo seriously in my college. So internships are mostly like training programs or workshops thats it nothing more

Placements is zero exceot cs and is as well ec none of the branches students are going to be placed in any companies. The only option is change your core and get into IT Mind tree will take aroind 3 students from ec or cs or is and tcs its like the one which will take students like a heard around 100 students from all the branches are goin to be placed in tcs and all.of them will not get offer letter you have to clear some test to get offer letter so placement is absolute zero and one biotech cmpany that too which was in hubli named assel technology came and took around 4 students with 10k per month salary and i heard they are making them work on excel so its useless

This is the best part of biet, we had several events some branch fests created by all the branches and in biotech it was biolit fest freshers party, farewell, ethnic day this is just awsom if you want to enjoy your student life then biet is the best place my college gave me soo much to remember. As well the college fest DAVANA which is held for 3 days where there will be rose day rose king and queen will be announced and choclate day everything will be best as well the cuktural programs dances songs everything will be awsomm

Fee structure is feasible because i paid in 2012 ot was 50k for 1 year. So you can afford that. Its feasibke compared to all the banglore colleges which will ask 1 lakh per year and all but now it could be more than that.if you are coming through management quota then you have to pay more especially for civil and mechanicals they have higher demand in this college though they have bad placements but also they have much more demand till 4lakh the donation will be taken by the college as well cs so if you are going through cet then the fees is affordable or else its expensive for what the college is giving you in return and yeah one more thing the office people they are very nice when you will go there to pay feez but later if yiu have any quer y and you will go and ask them they will act as fire

I wont think there is any scholarship offered by the college but ya vtu offers some scholarship for sc st students and the college will give 1k as prise money for the branch toppers loan i think it is provided by bapuji bank or the other national banks but i dint get any kind of scholarship or loan

Campus life is awsom you will get good frnz if you are lucky as i was we had a grouo of 7 people who used to enjoy a lot camous is very big with sports ground many competations are held in branch wise fests like presentations debates treasure hunt etc... labs are awsom and well equipped gender ratio is almost equal i think and there are northies as well south indians so divesmrsity is much

Hostel they are having seperate boys and girls hostel for boys there are 3 hostels and for girls its four one is inside the camous known as amruta to get the hostel room you have to be lucky since it has a high demand and the fee is 25k for one year and mess charge around 3k per month cleenliness vise hostel is too good but food is utter waste 3k is waste for that food and no non veg only veg butnin hemavati hostel food is good but cleenlinezs is equal to zero as it is old one but dvg has many cheap and best restaurents so no issues have outside if you done like the food in hostel

Seniors are helpfull to some ecmxtent but they will not guide yiu into anything but now we are not like that we are guiding our juniors who ask help from us in a correct way may be career or academic s we are guiding them in a good manner. But till now no alumini function and all

There are 3 internals conducted everymonth with 25 marks and the best 2 are taken out of 3 everything is under vtu the question papers will come from vtu so the pattern depends on vtu according to 2010 pattern we had to study 5 units out of 8 but now you have to study all 8 units so its a little tougher and at the end semister you have to prepare for seminar and project so its better to plan from 7th semister for both

I wrote kcet so attended verification counciling after that went to college paid fees and there was a small interview with director where he asked me many questions about biotechnology as well my hod who told abiut the colege start date and everything was good campus is just awsom

Faculty is average in the first year everything seems to be good but the onlything you have to take care is attendence especially in biotech dept no dress code but attendence yiu have to be dam serious with that faculties are supportive in some time but all the time they are favourable to the one who are there favourite amd ya some done even know how to solve problem they will ask the telented students to do that is the most funniest part however in the degree level youcannot depend on them for everything but atleast for solving problems you have to depend on them they cannot even do that the sadest part
