Course Curriculum Overview
Bcom with CPA isn't available in most of the colleges in Bangalore, so with limited options and future requirements of CPA, I chose the course. The college claims to have a faculty-student Ratio of 1:20. Which is 1 faculty for 20 students. Most of the professors are Doctorate holders and with professional qualifications. They are well aware of the subject they teach and have great knowledge about the subject. Mid-term exams happen after 2 months after the semester start and End sem exams happen after a few months
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for campus Placements from the final year. The Big 4 and top MNCs visit the college for offering campus Placements to students. Few of the companies are Amazon, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Ey, Accenture, Cognizant, HDFC Bank, IBM, HCL, KPMG, Mindtree, L&T Infotech, Capgemini. In the past, the college has reported that over 90% of eligible students have received job offers during campus placements. In the past, the highest package offered during campus placements at the college has been around Rs. 12-13 lakhs per annum, while the average package has been around Rs. 3-4 lakhs per annum
Fees and Financial Aid
The average fees for regular courses start from 75,000 per year and professional courses start from 1,10,000 per year. Scholarships are provided by the college for deserving students and those who have issues paying the fees such as the ima scholarship and reliance foundation scholarship
Campus Life
A number of fests take place at Kristu Jayanti such as the Samruddhi, Excelsior, Adroit, Nrityadarpan, Euphonia and many more. KJC hosts other colleges for inter-collegiate competitions and more The staff and students have unlimited access to a wealth of Information found in resources like books, magazines, Journals, statistics, encyclopedias, annual reports and the Internet. There are 3 libraries on campus, one in each block. KJC has a gym, Basketball court and a football turf that isn't really used for football. It also has a cricket pitch and volleyball/throwback court with an outdoor badminton court
Admission
The application form is available on the official college website. Application form fees are 700rs for UG and 500rs for PG programmes. Application form usually starts from December last week. Eligibility for the course is a minimum of 60% of the passing exam. The admission process starts with applying for admissions, once the application is approved, dates for the PI are announced through the mail and then if the candidate gets selected, the name is announced on the college website.
Interview Experience
Personal Interview takes place after the admission form is approved along with a topic that the students have to talk about for a minute. Interview questions usually include basic subject questions and introduce yourself. I prepared for the interview with the information available on YouTube and tips from the seniors, I would recommend Kavach Khanna on YouTube
