Life lessons and fun masti at NSUT.

I chose this course simply because there was no other option, and ECE is a reputed branch in NSUT. The faculty:student ratio is somewhere about 1:12 which I consider pretty good. All the major faculty members are PhD. The exams are a bit tough as our college does not believe in giving easy CGPA. There are two major exams, the midsems and the endsems held in a semester.

Many giants such as Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Sprinklr, Adobe, Amazon, and many more visit the campus of on-campus internships. I personally received a Business Analyst Intern role at Axis Bank. My task would be to work on Tableau(most probably).

The placements are good, as NSUT has a legacy of its own. Average placements vary somewhere around 14 lakhs per annum. The placement is good in the top branches while it decreases to about 50% for the lower branches. Somewhere around 200 companies visit the campus. The highest domestic placement was from Sprinklr. My plans after getting a degree are to get a job and move on with life.

The fees is huge if you compare them to the facilities. There are not many great features, and there is just one lab about which one can say that it is an IIT-level lab. Ever since it became a university from college, there has been a huge fee hike. There are two scholarships.

The campus life is good. After 4th semester, you get enough free time. There are many clubs and societies which one can join as per their interest and keep themselves busy. The library is good as there is availability of books. It could've been better though. Sports are a regular activity in our college and you can find many students playing in the sports arena. I personally am a part of the NSUT Quiz Club.

My admission was based on the score I had obtained on the JEE Mains. I got 98.65 percentile which accounted for AIR 15216. I am an outside Delhi candidate so I could only get ECE with this rank. I had no reservation of any sorts.
