Dislikes
- The size of campus is a bit small, but this is the story of all IPU colleges special in Delhi cause ou cannot just make up space. Rest assured it is sufficient.
- Sometimes the checking in internals are a bit strict which makes you demotivated sometimes but nothing you can do and keep working hard.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because, in today's time, the maximum number of jobs are in the IT sector itself. The faculty in our college and special in the CSE department is great. we have an equal ratio of male and female teachers and all the faculty have master and well qualified. Teachers are interactive and we make use of projectors, and ppt slides for teaching which is very effective. Per semester there are 2 theory exams one Mid-semester that is internal and the other is the End semester exam. It's easy to pass if you have the right resources and nothing difficult.
Internships Opportunities
There were 2 companies that came one was Nagarro and the other one was grape city they both were unpaid internships for a 1-month life duration so there was nothing as such just learning for the industry world. Projects on web development, database management, etc were the main roles.
Placement Experience
College placements are good and satisfying. Almost every year 90 per cent of students get placed in good companies. The average package is 4-5 lakhs and the highest goes up to 21 lakhs. The placement season starts at the last of the 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, josh tech, etc come to the college with varied packages. you can see the detailed placement record on the official website.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees per year are around 1 lakh 33 thousand so far, there is a scholarship for students of some low-income backgrounds. Most scholarships are from government side aid. In college, the company that comes for internship are mostly non-paid so there is no stipend but once you get a job, during the internship phase you easily earn 10-12k per month.
Campus Life
Campus life is great, and the food and canteen of BVCOE, New Delhi are by far the best you can get. The annual technical fest of bvcoe is BVEST and the cultural fest is Ecstasy. There are almost 34+ student clubs both technical and nontechnical that help in students' personal development and all these clubs are led by students themselves. We also have our sports fest Ranbhoomi on the college campus itself. There are various sports played like cricket, basketball, table tennis, badminton, football, etc.
Admission
The admission process was smooth, as my college comes under GGSIPU engineering colleges, so the admission was on basis of JEE mains result, There is a reservation for Delhi students of 85% of seats are reserved for them. I got my admission in the spot round that happened after all the other rounds. The admission process can be improved by speeding process.
