Course Curriculum Overview
I was always interested in Computer Science as well as electronics hardware so Information Technology was a good middle ground between the two. The faculty: student ratio is about 1 faculty for 30 students. The qualification of the faculty is adequate and their teaching methods are also good and student-friendly. The term exams have always been scheduled a few months later than the rest of the colleges in India and their difficulty level was moderate. Class Size : 60 Course Fees : INR 132000 per year
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around 1,32,000 which has to be paid annually for each year. There are various scholarships and financial assistance provided by the IP University and the government, available for deserving students. There has been a regular check for students requiring financial aid.
Campus Life
The cultural fest is called Xtasy, takes place in April, once every 2 years but due to the pandemic, it took place in 2019 last. The annual tech fest is called BVEST and is conducted in the month of November, however, in 2023 it is scheduled for March. Other than this, societies are quite active, IEEE student branch stands out as of the most active and acheiving societies
Admission
Primary admission criteria was the JEE score. There were multiple cut-off lists for the colleges of IPU. The cut off went as high as 3.5 lakh for some streams. 12th boards score must've been over 60%. Improvement expected from the admission process is better information display on University website
