Likes

I like the parking that is available for the students.
The crowd is very nice and interactive and it helps in making good connections.
The library is a very calm and relaxing place packed with a lot of books. I love it

Dislikes

The college staff is very arrogant and ignorant for no reason.
You are most likely to get in brawl with people in this college very easily
The attendance system is something that needs to be changed entirely. It sucks!

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is like I thought it to be. I opted for BCA because I was specifically inclined towards Computers, could've opted for BTECH CS as well but that would take away the main motive. My class constitutes a 90:10 gender ratio in which boys are the majority. The Faculty is very qualified and helpful.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

You have to pay 95000-1L Per semester for BCA. The cost to study varies as per the conditions of staying and food that depends on every individual. If someone stays near the campus, rent and food can be factored in and the traveling costs can be deducted and vice-versa. I am not opting for any job so I am not aware of the on-campus placement.

Campus Life

The annual fest is called Amity Youth Fest and is celebrated in the month of February. The library consists of a large variety of collections and I believe every needed book is available there. Classes are well furnished and equipped with air conditioners. The name of the social group is Tycoon Entrepreneur Club.

Admission

The admission process was smooth. I had to take an online exam due to Covid, it was a basic English exam which was the qualifier for the question answering round in which you had to record answers to certain questions and then send them to the Institution's Portal.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk.
