All About Shri Ram College of Commerce

I am from commerce background and I loved to study accounting, economics and business study. So in order to get a greater and in depth knowledge about these subjects, I chose this course. The faculty here is amazing. They are supportive too. Now talking about the term exams, they were delayed because of the backlog by covid-19, so they were conducted in February end. The difficulty level was moderate.

Companies like D.E Shaw, EY come to recruit in the internship fair. Roles offered are of the field of marketing, research etc. The tasks to be performed by the student includes a live project. It includes working on a real time project.

Students of 3rd year are eligible to sit for interviews for placement. In recent years, some of the top recruiters at Srcc include EY, KPMG, JP Morgan, HUL, Nestle. The placement statistics for 2020-21 kisi . Number of companies visited - 107 . Offers made - 617 . Highest package - 38lakh per annum . Average package - 10lakh per annum . Placement ratio - 40% After getting the degree, my plan is to go for masters degrees in business administration.

The yearly fees for a general candidate is 30000 per annum. Certain relaxations are given to candidates from reserved categories. Various scholarships and internships are also provided by the college. The scholarship is provided to support economically weaker section. For internship, any student of the college can go through the recruitment process.

The Campus life is great. Number of amenities are provided by the college. Firstly, societies form a major part of the college life. There are number of societies and clubs of different fields and interest like Drama Society, Consulting Society etc. Apart from this, there is a basketball court, four badminton court, 1 table tennis table, 1 football field and 1 hockey field. There is also a library where you can find almost every book of your course.

The yearly fees of hostel is 70000+mess and electricity bill which is approximately 50000 per annum. There are no special facilities provided by the hostel except a common room which has a table tennis table and television. Apart from this, only basic amenities are provided that is a bed, water connection, mess service, bed sheet etc. To register for the hostel, you need to fill up the form which is released on the official website of the college.

Firstly talking about the eligibility of the course, you need to score atleast 60% in your 12th boards to be eligible to apply for the entrance exam which is conducted for admission in this course. You can find the application form for the entrance test at cuet.samarth.ac.in. This year that is 2023, the entrance exam is to be held in May.
