- My experience at KJC was good since there were many things that held me back as a student there such as too many rules and regulations carried out by the conservative nature of many facilities. Some faculty members have been very nice but there are
- some who just come to college for getting a salary and not focusing on teaching properly.
Dislikes
- I dislike the exposure of the college among other colleges and the kind of nature we hold while conducting a fest focusing on the Jayantian Decorum which is completely unnecessary. There should be times where students can enjoy how much they want but
- even during major occasions and programs at college. It has been observed that the students are not able to dance and sing or scream during performances which are mind blowing.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I wanted to go into the finance field and this course best suits my needs. The faculty-student ratio is effective because every class has different teachers for their own subjects. Most of the faculty have Ph.D. and I find that very good in terms of quality education for the students. Regarding the exams, it was very timely and well organized and the exams were not so difficult to pass.
Placement Experience
Placements are very organized and students are given proper training for having a good interview and eventually getting placed in the company. The companies that have visited our college for placements are Delloite, ICICI Bank, KPMG, JP Morgan and many more. The highest package given was 12Lacs P.A. My plans after getting my degree are to continue my studies and get a master's degree in Germany.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study for a course would be around 70k to 1 Lacs. There are many scholarships given to the SCST castes and the college had been providing various aids to people from backward societies.
Campus Life
Life on the campus is filled with new things and every day you learn something new right from meeting a new person and being friends to learning a new skill. Since the college has a diverse nature of students, there is a very good chance you'd meet someone from a different state and learn new things about that place. The classrooms are very clean and the college has also been awarded the clean and green campus award by the Karnataka Govt. The sports department is also well taken care of and it ensures that everyone gets a chance to do something they love at sports. It is competitive but also it helps us learn new skills for the sport we like.
Admission
The minimum percentage required for admission was 80 percent, as I had more than 90 percent it wasn't an obstacle for me to get admission to the college. The application form can be found on the college website under the admission portal and all the information regarding the admission will be posted there. When it comes to the admission process I saw the interview as a bit easy because there weren't many questions asked.
