What Students Say
Likes
- The peer group is really great, as some of the best brains of the nation are sitting next to you.
- The college promotes alot of extra-curricular activities which help in overall development of a person.
Dislikes
- The 75 % attendance criteria is a headache for students and students get detained if their attendance gets below 75%.
- The exams are taken very frequently be it class tests, assignments, quizzes or mid sems.
- The academic schedule is really hectic, where we have classes from 8am to 6pm daily.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is really good and they teach everything from the basic level. The student-to-faculty ratio is somewhere about 1:80 for my batch which is decent when compared to other colleges. Some of the faculty members are really qualified and have done their PHD'S from IIT while some of them just take classes for the sake of it. There are 4 exams in each semester, 2 class tests, mid-semester exams and end-semester exams. The difficulty level of the paper depends on the preparation of the student, some students score really well while some of them fail.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available in our college. Students usually get their internships in tech and non-tech firms, from the second year itself. The stipend provided by most of the companies lies between 50k to 90k per month.
Placement Experience
The placements are really good, the average ctc recorded this year was somewhere around 18LPA and the highest CTC recorded was around 1.25 crores/annum. The top companies which visited the campus include Microsoft, Google, Meta, Deloitte, amazon, Flipkart, lenskart, goldman sacs, Bain etc. More than 90 per cent of the students got the on-campus placements and the rest 10 per cent students chose to for higher studies and entrepreneurship. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies abroad.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the course is around 2.19 lakhs per year including tuition fees and development fees. Hostel fees per semester are somewhere around 34000. Scholarships are given to the SC, ST, and OBC category students based on their family incomes. The on-campus placements are really good, with this year's average CTC around 18LPA and the Highest package recorded somewhere around 1.25 crores/annum. Internship opportunities are also provided on campus.
Campus Life
The annual cultural fest of our college is the MOKSHA-INNOVISION which is held somewhere between march and April. Last year KK performed in our cultural fest and it was successfully completed with the footfall of 1lakh 50 thousand students. The tech fest of our college is RESONANZ and it is held in October every year. The course books are available in the library and you can take them whenever you want to. The classrooms are really big and spacious they're air conditioned and the washrooms are also really clean and hygienic. The college provides you with tons of opportunities and extracurricular activities to improve your overall development. There are many societies and clubs run by the students including the E-cell, enacts, venatus etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are decent which are provided over here, You get an option to choose a single room or a double room. The rooms are spacious and you can accomodate things over there properly. The rooms provided to you include almirah, bed, table, chair, fan, tubelight and a drawer. The mess food is not that great, it is just okayish, sometimes you'll feel like going to the mess because your favourite dish is made and sometimes you'll just order something from swiggy or zomato. The hostels are really affordable , the per semester hostel fee is around 33-34000 Rupees which is cheap when we compare it with PG's and Flats.
