Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose this bachelor of commerce course because I was good at accounts and mathematics. Also, I thought that it has a scope in future because I want to pursue a master's in finance. Also, it's a Course for those who want to be chartered accountants in future. Faculty is the best thing in my college They all are friendly and helpful and I feel free while talking to them but yes there are some teachers who are very inhospitable for students and they will take their personal grudges out on the students and cut their marks without any giving reasons. Delhi university examinations are not that easy to pass if you haven't studied but I have experienced that there was an exam in Corporate accounting and they made an exam which was out of the syllabus basically the probability of this type of exam is very low but yeah they do pass the students and you can give them for a recheck if you want but if the fees are low they are paying that much attention on the students

Fees and Financial Aid

According to me that Delhi university has low fees as compared to the other university that's why everyone wants to study at this university because it is a government-based university and it has more respect than others which means if you are passed out from Delhi university you are considered to be more educated because being passed out from Delhi university is a huge thing. I am studying at Rajdhani college and I had to pay twice for the college and I had to pay ten thousand once and the second time I had to pay thirteen thousand so yes it is a reasonable one. Also, there are internship opportunities in my college in fact I am doing a content writer internship at my college and it is helping me a lot to earn something besides my studies there were many more internships which came in my college and I think it is a nice thing to do an internship with your studying Like why we can't earn whilst studying? And I think I am enjoying doing it.

Campus Life

4

There is a fest Which was held in Delhi last year and it was held in April it's called thunderstruck and it was an Event of two days one day was about DJ night and another day they invited Benny Dayal who is a Bollywood singer And it was quite fun. There is a huge Library in my college and I have heard somewhere that it is the Gigantic Library at Delhi University and they have all types of books and novels for the students and there is a study room also for the students which is a very peaceful place to study and there is a sports ground in our college Which have lot of sports to play Like volleyball badminton cricket kabaddi and many more also they provide some of the student's opportunity to play for the college and there are other societies Which are of dancing singing Painting drama and many more also or college allows the students to participate in the college competitions which is the Best extracurricular activity for the students

Admission

I had taken admission before the CUET exams were conducted so I can give the reviews about that before these exams. So when I took admission it was on the basis of the merit list and it was a big list according to the category and I took the admission on the 3rd merit list with the scheduled caste category. At that time for bachelor of commerce honours, at least 95% was needed for the general category. You can find the application form on the Official website of Delhi university. It was a benefit for those who have reservations and also there was a 1 % concession for girls. There was a vast difference in the percentage for pwd and general categories. I don't think there should be an improvement because the CUET exams have been the process for admissions now though I think that now the students won't take their 12th exams seriously because only 50% are required to appear for the CUET exams. There was a low percentage required for Sanskrit and Hindi honours in the merit list for Rajdhani college in DU

Other Applied Colleges

Shivaji College | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.}

I heard that Rajdhani is better than shivaji as per the faculty and environment

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
