College is good in academics. But the college seems more like school as they dont allow to leave campus before college timings. They have strict rules and protocols. They implement fines on very small mistakes.
Entrance Preview
I took JEE main entrance test. But this doesn't count at the time of admission,you just need above 60% aggregate in cbse. It's the rank 1 college in ncr,that's why i chose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
B.tech is a 4 years course.
Internships Opportunities
I was in nainital for internship,did survey of the area and made the map of that area. But i was not offered any stipend, i did that internship for learning.
Placement Experience
My college is main centre for placement. Neighbouring colleges' students also come for placement. Mostly IT companies come. They offer 2-10 lakhs P.A. Companies like Flipkart,hcl etc have come in my college.
College Events
Freshers,carbuncle,fest,alumni meet every type of events are celebrated. And piet quest is the main attraction.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship are provided for poor people or Kashmir students. Educational loans are also provided.
Campus Life
Piet is good at sports. Gender ratio vary with courses like in BBA and BCA ratio of boys and girls is approximately 60:40 and in B.Tech 65:35. Campus life is not so cool as they don't allow students to leave before college timings.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel accommodation is good but mess is average. There is both a/c and non-a/c rooms. But you can't get a private hostel room,you have to share with 1 or 2 students. Fees for A/C room is 80k and non A/C room is 60k.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students seems to be confident. Some got placement,some didn't. Placement depends on your academics.
Faculty
And the faculty in my college is very qualified,mostly M.Tech. Faculty is regular and focuses on each and every student.
