Course Curriculum Overview
I choose bca because there is a wide scope in the IT sector. The curriculum here nearly covers all the concepts of computer engineering including graphics, programming language and hardware. The faculty is not so good, my java teacher hardly teaches us, and we have to do it by ourselves rest of the teachers are good enough at teaching. Here all the teachers are qualified but not trained. There is 2 pre-University test and 1-semester exam on the basis of pr University test you will get your internals and if you studied enough during these 2 tests then it's easy to pass in semesters.
Placement Experience
Companies start coming for placement in the 5th semester. The average placement of sms lucknow is 800000 per annum. Students are eligible for interviews from the fifth semester. Only a few big companies like hcl, Amul, JCB, etc. Visits the campus. The highest campus placement last year was 1600000 per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee of BCA is 30000 per semester + you have to give an exam fee of 4500 in the first semester and then 4000 in each sem. You have to submit the fee for the next sem during they resent sem like 2nd-semester fees are submitted in 1st semester otherwise fine of rs 500 per week will be imposed on you. During admission, they will ask for a test for a scholarship. That test is so that you can score 96% without being prepared. The max scholarship you can get is 18000 and there is more if have ews or sc at the certificate.
Campus Life
There is only a few sports tournament namely basketball, cricket, Volleyball, chess and 100m and 400m race. There is a fresher's party for freshers in December and a farewell for last year's students in September. At the fresher's party, a DJ night is organised but the farewell is not so good. There are a variety of books available in the library related to the course but there is also a fine of 10 rs per day if you are not submitting the book before the due date. Every class has a projector and a comfortable bench to sit on.
Admission
I opted for BCA so there was only one eligibility criterion for that you must have maths or any other subject related to computers. The staff in the admission cell was good you are not going to face any difficulty during the admission process.
