Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is common throughout the university. However, the sample books, PPT, Assignments and notes provided by teachers are good. Most of the Faculty members are good. Some struggle used to be there with the guest lecturers otherwise the permanent teachers, HOD etc are nice and helpful.

Internships Opportunities

Placements were through Central Placement Cell only. Other than that Genpact was one of the major companies that came over.

Our classmates got Placements through CPC only. Wipro, TCS were the major hirers.

No scholarship is offered by the college as such.

Campus Life

Its a girls college. Labs are excellent. Sports are not given that much importance but if you are willing to indulge in sports you will get good coaching. Seminars are held with reputed guests on board.

Hostel Facilities

No hostels are provided by the college, hence no mess even. The canteen is also average as the vendor keeps on changing.

Alumni meet is held every year which helps is keeping the seniors and juniors are in touch.

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Best college of DU for Mathematics

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

Hidden gem of Patel nagar

I had also applied to another college in Du. Honest opinion of kalindi college

Cuet is the eligibility. Like 70-80% percentile in physics can get you in kalindi. Application are announced nearly in March- april. This exam happens once a year. Cuet have a bit of lengthier and time taking admission procedure but it's worth it....Read More
