Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum and Faculty here are a hit or miss. Some are way too good with students, others might have their walls up and be strict to the teeth with their methodology and teaching. But nonetheless, the faculty has always been made of qualified individuals with some of them being one of the best in their streams. Exams are straightforward if you're continuously revising and doing what the teachers are teaching.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities this year have been introduced from the very first semester. So considering I myself have to apply for one, right now I'm not too sure I would have a comment or opinion on it. Hopefully it'll be able to provide me with a look into the kind of work which it would like to pursue later in my career.
Placement Experience
Considering I'm in the first semester writing this, I don't have much info as of right now on the placements of the current year. But overall the placements through the years in college have been way above average in my opinion (comparing these with private IP University colleges).
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is a bit of a pinch on the pocket considering this is a government college. Nonetheless, the facility and the networking opportunities in my opinion give you a bang for the buck you put on the line. College is as much a space to study but is also a hub of networking with people who even 5 or 6 years down the lane would help you out giving a push to your career in the right direction. Plus for many students who can't afford it right away, the college has provisions for many scholarships and schemes for relaxation and easy loan lending which is a great boon.
Campus Life
To make a very complex emotion small and sweet, it's really good. The whole campus life will never leave you thinking there is nowhere to go or nothing to do. If you want to do it everything is open to you.
Admission
I took the national level exam, JEE exam to score admission to my college. It's a well-reputed college and a dream of many engineering students. The criteria for admission varies vastly basis the individual who's applying, where factors like, has the candidate applied from outside of Delhi, has he/she done their schooling in Delhi, do they possess an SC/ST/OBC certificate, their gender too can come into play etc. Overall with a little bit of strategy and a little bit of luck, this process can be tackled. The admission takes place via the Joint Admission Council Counselling rounds (of which there are 5). The application form for the same can be found on their website. Fee and other details about the college including the crowd, the faculty, and everything else can be found on collegedunia site very easily and conveniently to see if this matches what you had in mind for your college.
