Course Curriculum Overview
I didn't choose this course actually I dreamt of Computer Science and Engineering but due to cut-offs, I can get Data Science and Engineering at best. There are enough faculties and they also are highly qualified. There are two exams per semester which are mid sem and end sem and include some quizzes.
Internships Opportunities
Since I am still studying here in 2nd year so I may be wrong with some facts but there is a lot of opportunity for internships. Many famous companies like Samsung, HDFC spirit labs, etc. have offered roles like SDE and much more in the data science field also.
Placement Experience
I am still studying here but I have heard from my seniors about placements So I may be wrong. It seems to be above average. Above 90% of students were placed in this course. The highest may be around 45 LPA and the lowest was 13 lpa while the average goes around 23lpa. Top companies include Oracle, TCS, etc. Regarding internship around 78% of the course strength got into. The top roles offered were as Data Scientists, Data analysts, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee here currently is 100000 and the hostel and mess fee account for 22000. But if your family's annual income is less than 100000, you will get a 100% fee waiver on tuition fees but hostel and mess fees you must have to pay.
Campus Life
The campus first of all is very scenic and beautiful as it is located amidst Mountains and valleys. And the campus has all basic facilities like Wi-Fi, classrooms, library, labs, etc., and has very good infrastructure. In hostel rooms, rooms are compact but sufficiently enough, semi-furnished with beds, desks, almirahs, chairs, etc. And the mess food is good with variations. The campus has a badminton court, Table tennis, a ground for practicing cricket, etc.

Admission
Admission to IITs is through an entrance exam called JEE Advanced. The application form for the same can be found online. But Students can apply for this exam only if they have qualified Jee Mains. The exam date is around May. Yes, ranks are also provided on basis of category like I am from OBC, NCL.
