Placement are very good in Vit and It secures are future.
Clubs and society are very good and you will have a ball of time here
The infrastructure looks very good and greenery in campus.

Dislikes

There are is huge crowd which means more competition.
Strict Intime rules for hosteller and attendance policy.
Public display of affectionion is not allowd.

The course is very demanding in today's world and in the near future it will grow. The faculty: student ratio is 1:35 in Vit ap. All the professors are PhD qualified from top universities. There are 3 exams in a semester.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 1500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship has been very good. Top companies like Bajaj, Cognizant, Wipro, Deloitte, Amazon, JP Morgan, Microsoft, and Accenture visited. They have given many internship opportunities and many have been placed after ppo.

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is very good. There is a total of 900 companies visited during the last campus drive in all 4 vit campuses. Vit gas centralized placement. So you need to compete with all four campus students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are normal if you belong to Category-1, but other than Category 1 it is very high. Yes, you can avail of student loans on campus. There is some financial assistance to the districts toppers of the states.

Campus Life

The main and biggest fest of our college is VITOPIA. It used to be held in the month of February-March. There are a lot of books and journals available in the library. The amenities in the classroom are decent There are clubs and societies.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is 75% in the 12th board. The application form can be found on the main website of vit. The application fee was nearly 1000 rupees. Yes, the Vit institute asks for fixed deposit money of 200000 to do the admission.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
