Likes

College infrastructure, library and our friend circle 🔴and old block is very amazing to
Very good condition of cafeteria and. Canteen is very beautiful and food is tasty
Cooperative professor and they treat us as a small brother

Dislikes

Nothing to be disliked but sometime when there is no one with us we fell as alone
There is no parking for students to park their bikes and cars in college
There is no big ground to play cricket and football

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose B.Sc (H) Mathematics . Because maths is my favourite and interesting subject from my 2nd standard and in our class strength is of 75 students Professor are very cooperative with the students . In this we have semester exams and these were held after every 4 to 5 months And it is not typical to pass in exam Question papers are easy as we study whole semester

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarships which are provided during study such as NSP and other government school ships and college also provide. Scholarships to financial weak students I have not got any scholarship from college and government till now

Campus Life

College life is so much interesting really . We meet with strangers firstly but after that they become our friends and like treat everyone as a family . And we enjoy most by travelling different places in delhi such as red fort, India gate , rastrapati bhawan etc and every year we have college fest. Named SABRANG and of our department fest Library is so much beautiful and very Lage and good in infrastructure and it contains lot of books Classroom are also big and well furnished There is sports facility also available for each and every student

Admission

I took admission in year 2020 and it was colthrough merit based process. I didn't feel any disturbance during admission because it was. Totally in online mode and also that was the corona period and I got college in delhi university and that is Deshbandhu college This college is very good in infrastructure and as well as in study . professors co-operative with the students and students also co-operative with teachers

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Best college of DU for Mathematics

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

Life in college so far

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good. The admission process revolves around first clearing the cuet(ug) exam and then applying to the delhi university, then there will be 2-3 rounds of Delhi university and you'll be alloted a college as per your preferences and score and cut offs...Read More
