- Campus life is great. It is comparitively safer for girls as compared to other universities as much as i hace seen. There are new fests going on every month and you'll never get bored here
Dislikes
- The boys hostel is very far away from the university so we have to walk a lot to just reach the college
- The basic items and the food which you buy although good in quantity and quality is a little expensive so keep in mind of bringing a money plant from home
- There are various levels to cross to get simple things done. It is just like real world out there where you need to first ask the manager then the boss and the boss's boss if you want a new chair
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this because I'm interested in computer science and would like to explore more in this field. Faculty Student ratio is 1:50. The entire faculty is a doctorate and this was the reason I was more attracted to this college. The teaching method is fabulous. The teachers have depth knowledge about their subjects and entertain all the doubts and inquiries which students have. They even call students to their office if doubt prevails. The term-end examinations are conducted after the commencement of the course after every four months and it is quite difficult to pass in the exam.
Placement Experience
After 2nd Semester students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of Multinational and Indian companies like, Intel, eBay, Amazon, Dell, GE, Texas Instruments, Schneider Electric, DE Shaw & Co, Hitachi, HP, PayPal, Tata Motors, L&T, Dr. Reddy's, Bosch, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, Qualcomm, Ashok Leyland, Honda, Ford, Global Analytics, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys among others, actively take part in the placement and hiring processes with VIT. In 2022, No. Of the students that got placed 7,462. No. Of super dream offer 2,562. Striking 90% of students got placed. After getting my degree I will give GATE exam and do Masters in my field.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure depends on your rank in VIT exam rank and then they divide you in categories Group A - 1,76,000, Group B - 2,10,000, And further Category 1 - 1,50,000 Category 2 - 2,50,000 Category 3 - 4,50,000 Category 4 - 5,50,000 Tuition fees and the hostel fees is 1,20,000. Prodigy students are given scholarship for tuition fees. Internship programmes with reputed companies like Microsoft are given.
Campus Life
Tech fests like AdVITya are held and they are as good as top NITs and reputed colleges. All the books related to the course and off course are available. If you have the appetite for a book library is your heaven. The classrooms are run by smart projectors and teachers even use collar Mike's to address a class with large strength. Sports like Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Cricket (and a Cricket turf), and Ping pong are played and have their specific courts. Students also do Cycling, Skateboarding, and athletics. A specific gym is there in a hostel where students can train themselves. There are a great no. of clubs in VIT Bhopal. There are regional clubs for every language. There are Tech and non-tech clubs. For students aspiring to get into defense in the future, There are also defense-related clubs.
Admission
For being eligible one needs to complete 10+2 in PCM or PCB according to the type, of course, one is selecting. Application form will be present online and they inform you online when the application process is going to start (the last date is 31st March for 2023) and application fees (1350 for 2023). No, the college follows a uniform civil code. Just one that if someone has any other exam on the same day of the VIT examination then they can inform 1 week prior and their date if the examination will be postponed and pre-pined. I want that option available for the Students.
