Course Curriculum Overview

I had chosen BE CSE course become it helps in achieving my goal. Our faculty are very flexible with students and teach us very well. All are well Qualified and experienced teachers. There would be 3 sessional tests,2 FA's, and 1 end term per semester.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 134000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are started in the 5th semester of college and the stipend depends on the companies we get and depends on the work done. Students have done many projects and start-ups in college. And college staff do help with students.

Placement Experience

The campus offers placement from the 5th or 6th semester only. Neustar, WNS, Tata Technologies, Plum, etc. are the company we get. 40 LPA and 6.5 LPA are the highest and average packages offered. 100 percent of students get placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure would be like this: 70000-course fee per semester, 30000 hostel fee per semester. There would be no scholarship, Stipend depends on the company and internship we do but we get a good number of companies to campus.

Campus Life

We have Dj nights for every 2 months and monthly 1 tech fest and weekly sports tournaments. We had a big library where we get many tech-related books, navale, etc. In every classroom, we have a smart board and a projector and a big blackboard, and good sitting facility for us We have many clubs like sports, NCC, NSS, etc.

Hostel Facilities

In every room, we have 2 beds with mattresses, a tube light,2 benches,2 chairs, 1 cooler, 2 big dressings racks, and 2 books racks. We have a good and different menu for food each day and a good quality of food. The registration process would be linked with the admission form.

Hostel Fee: INR 64000 per year

Admission

I didn't take any admission test but your 12th class percentage should be minimum and above 60 percent. Then you can fill out the admission from the website and fill in the details. Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

I took civil because is good and all teachers are on there post and are very good. Civil engineering plays very important role in construction of buildings and dams etc. Exams are mostly held in September November and December for odd sem and for Even sem it is feb April and may.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi. I got a confirmed admission from many colleges like BML munjal university, GNA university, Chandigarh university, etc. I chose this college over other because it was not too costly and crowd is less compared to other private universities.
