The campus is situated at a very calm and quiet place which is a great atmosphere for study.The classes and labs help the students to learn more. library facility is excellent. Moreover it is the best place to study and to build your career.

Jee Main I scored 1,53,000 rank all India I chose this because of its one of the best institution in my state.

The course is little vast but its total branch oriented. in my electrical branch, I got 6-7 papers in every semester and also one Honors paper which is helpful for knowing the electrical engineering course totally. I have studied electrical engineering material, sensors & transducers, electrical machine design as electives in semesters.

Yes, our college gives us permission for internships in any industrial places. They also send us for study tours. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Vedant come every year to our college. The internship is free of cost.

Yes, the placement is very good at our institution. 80% people got placed every year. In electrical many has got seats in companies like TCS, TECH MAHINDRA, VEDANTA, JK PAPERS. They give a package of average 3.5 lakhs per annum. These are the mass recruiting companies in our college and also many startup companies came to our college for recruitment every year. Often our college student goes off campus placement where they got a package worth 12 lakhs per annum and much more. Also, students got placed as a lecturer as a contractual basis in the college.

At the starting after we get admitted the first function is orientation programme. its good event in which we got information about our college course curriculum and the academic year details, then a welcome party is thrown by our college that is huge and enjoying.then there are branch fests if every branch which is enjoying. We have our tech cultural fest named horizon which is celebrated in every year in the month of February.its the biggest fest of Odisha. Many stars came to perform here. The student from different colleges come to participate in this.then we have a sports cultural fest named Utshahan which is also the biggest sports fest in odisha.we also celebrate film festival where we watch many movies in three days. A fun fair is arranged on April 1 every year where we buy and sell craft items food items and also we have fun game events there.Lastly, the annual function of college is held in the month of April.

The fee structure is feasible. We have to pay 30k-32k in odd semesters and 1.5k in every even semesters for hostel fee we pay 20k in the Odd semester and 15k-16k in the even semester. The fees are very affordable and cheap comparing the other institutions across the country.

Yes scholarship from the different charitable trust can be availed by the meritorious students every year. Medhabruti and Prerana are the government scholarship which can be availed by the deserving candidates through college every year. There is bank near our college State Bank of India you can avail study loan from there loan facility is welcomed by the institution.

Campus life is very awesome. The natural view of the campus has its own charm. The river is flowing beside the campus people spend time there anytime. labs and workshops are well maintained and they are the best in the state. The gender ratio is 3:1 boys and girls respectively. There is a robotics club here. for literature activity, there is a club named society of literary enthusiast. for photography, there is drishya 360° club. for cultural activities, we have a club named Soch

The hostel facilities are excellent in this place. We have got four hostels. the girls have got 2 hostels. we change the hostel every year.in 1st and 2nd year we have to share a room with four people and in 3rd year we have to share rooms with one person and in final year we get the single room in the hotel. The food in every mess of hostel is very high-quality. The off-campus hostel is also there for 1st-year students in case of seat short in campus hostels.

Alumni network is very strong in our institution. They help us bringing the campus for the students. They arrange many functions for the teachers and students. many development works of colleges and hostels are carried out by them. Every year senior students and the Alumni are very helpful to others.

Exams and labs are in the daily routine. In every semester we have 4-5 labs and 2 internals, and the main semester exam at the end of every semester. Our routine is so fixed that we get enough time for everything in college. The day is well spent with studies after doing all the classes and lab we still get much time for self-study. The exam schedule is also student friendly.

I enrolled my name in jee counseling in Odisha at Bhubaneswar. I given my choices during the counseling like a different branch in the different college. I have given electrical branch preference for my institution Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology. After some day I got the seat in this college. The notice was published for admission on the date 8th August 2015. I went there in the morning by train and bus transportation. I reached the college and did some formal procedure to get admitted in the college.

Faculties are highly qualified. they are mainly done m.tech from different Nits across the country. they have an excellent career. and the professors have done Ph.D. from its and iisc across the country. the teaching standard is very good. regular classes, interactive teaching help us achieve more in the course.
