Best 4 years of my life

Teachers in our college is qualified but they are not able to teach properly and also there is less package offered in jobs So overall our college is not good enough to produce good engineers.

After clearing IIT JEE entrance examination I got admission in Vidhyavardhini college. I scored 60 marks in exam out of 360, I didn't choose this college my marks choose this college my marks were so less than that have to go with this college only, in the admission list only this college is listed so I don't have any option to choose other colleges so now I am perusing BE in IT ,I am always interested to study about computer and network so I choose to do engineering

There is a lot of things that I got to learn in this course. Languages like C, Java, technology like database management and many other things that I do not remember yet. There are lots of things that I have studied which is not as good as for research because my syllabus is outdated and not used as much nowadays so, I have learns a new language on myself like Python because it has great demand outside.

No, there is no internship in our college lots of companies came in our college just for jobs only like Infosys, L&T, Capgemini but they only want students for jobs.

In my department 33 students were placed out of 80 in Infosys and 24 in L&T many students were selected in both companies. In our college there is not the good package is offered compared to the other college so less no of companies comes in our college. Aptitude test is firstly conducted then who get passed is then goes to interview directly many companies also conduct Group discussion also if no of candidates are high In my college highest package is 2.8 or 3 lakh per annum that's it That's why my college is not good for placement's

Events celebrated is Zeal. Technical event (which has different name for different departments of college ) Zeal is the best fest which our college conducts because it has very unique event which is OCTAVES in which metal band rock band performance is there, bands from different city comes to our college to play In this band concert best part is moshpit which is deadly where all students makes a circle and then runs toward each other recklessly Many students get hurt also Many other fun events are also there in Zeal like master chef, logo quiz, Lan gaming, treasure hunt, ethnic walk etc it is a total 3 days event That technical event is also good which has many technical events like codings, hardware debugging, technical paper presentation etc

Fess structure for general students is approx 1 lakh per years For OBC 50,000 per years For Sc/st - 12000 per year The General category has very high fees compare to others. Thus reserved system is now failing now no such system is needed There are my friends who are SC but rich enough to pay fees of 1 lakh but they pay 12k and there are also my friends who pay 1 lakh per year which is very hard for them to paid they are from general category there lend money form Friend and then pay it So i think reservation system should be eliminated

No, our college doesn't provide any scholarship/loan facilities. They just want money. But if some student parent is earning below 2 lakh per years which are below the poverty line for those students fees is very low which is almost 12000 per year.

I have fantastic experience in my college I have enjoyed lots of events with my friends I have made lots friends in this college there events like debates which is held in zeal festival which is very good Ratio of students is if there are 80 students then 25 girls in CS/IT and if it is mechanical or civil then 3-4 girls 70-80 boys I have work for Extracurricular activities like preparation for the events of college which is lots of fun and have lots of this that how events are managed We also have grounds for cricket and volleyball so our college also take parts in sports and MIT which is held in Pune

No there is no hostel facility's in our college if a student wants then we have to live in PG. I live with my parent's so, I don't have any PG experience. Our college has Canteen which makes shit food so no one buy food from student they prefer to buy food from outside the college.

I don't know any alumni but seniors students then me which a is still studying are very helpful during exams, they also guide us for future planning and what to do or not do in practical exams and also tell us how is the teacher in seniors faculty and how to behave with them.

Exam structure is hectic in engineering because firstly we have to submit to file of the respective subject which has almost 40-50 assignment each. Then there is viva and practical exam for the specific subject only not for all. Firstly the external always come late to conducted exam so all students suffering from from tension that when the examiner will come what qsns he will ask all that and then the external will come after 1-2 hr after the exam timing then the practical exam will be conducted and then external will take viva on which topic you have done the practical which is most terrifying time most of the student get reviva who didn't perform well , each day different practical exam is conducted then after all practical and viva exam 20 days of holiday is there to prepare for final exams each exam has almost 1 week gap so there is good time for preparation but for KT students it is very difficult to manage backlogs and current exam after a whole 1.5 month exam is over this 1.5 month is the most terrifying time and there is 2 such exam in 1 years

I have don 12th from Thakur college then after clearing 12th I give entrance exam for engineering so then after getting marks we have to buy one form which has ID and password for online admission process there was 2 form 1st for reserved and 2nd for general so i purchased reserved category form because I am SC and then I fill up the form online there we have to uploads marks of 10th 12th and entrances exam nd photos and signature also then after uploading all my information we have to vary this information at the camp of engineering documents verification which is at various college so i go to Vidhyavardhini college because it was near to me so when i go there with my documents to verify they want my cast validity document but I was from UP and there was no such thing as cast validity in UP so I research about it then I came to know that reserve category of Maharashtra only get cast validity document so then I have to take admission in general category which has 1 lakh fees for 1 year. This process is a disappointment because this makes no sense to give admission to only Maharashtra reserved category, not to other states reserved category.

My college has not good teacher's as other colleges. Teacher's in my department are well qualified enough to teach almost all teachers have Masters in engineering but they don't have teaching skills they have knowledge but they are not able to express it hardly 2-3 teachers are there who can teach properly. Some of the teachers even don't complete the portion before exam.
