College with good values

No bad remarks on my college, it is well equipped for students.

I took imu CET, and my rank was 1065, I took an exam in Vizag in Indian Maritime University. I have been through certificate verification after selection.

Marine engineering is so different course when compared to other courses. I have been through Indian related to ship, Shipping economy, ship construction, focus mainly on biggest exports and imports business is shipping business, need to maintain all aspects related to engine and navigation safety of sea and human life on the ship.

No, my college won't provide an internship. No companies will provide the internship.

Placements are good and present shipping industries facing problems to provide employment, but we had students who placed in MSC, MOL, Fleet, APEJAY, ASP, package of 400 dollars per month as a trainee, then after the pay scale will change according to rank.

Nautica 2015 happened, and cultural programme happened on imu day November 14, In my presence only on technical event happened, But in other IMU campus, they are plenty of technical events happened like Samudra, and so on but not in Chennai campus

Fee structure is like 2.25 lakh per year and same for B.Sc too For girls 1.50 lakh per year

it bit confusing for to say about scholarship scheme in my college, someone has to consult directly IMU head office

Very few girls in our college , its residential course so no much scope to stay outside campus, very dare and dashing girl cadets present in our college, culture activities quite common, no sexual harassment in my college, no politics, no economic status issues, all type of state religion and caste people are in my college.

I rate 10 out of 10, food and facilities like wifi fire fighting equipment for safety and 24 hours power and so on, elevator, super clean bathrooms

Seniors are very friendly and bit strict towards formalities used to follow in college like parade, pt etc

Exams and internals assessment, lab practical and ship visits and so on are frequently happen, surprise test and educational lectures, and so on used to happen on weekly basis, it is as same as normal B.Tech college pattern. Paper was prepared by imu head campus

In Hindu newspaper my uncle saw the extension date for imu CET, then after I proceeding with all formalities like online application filling, payment of exam fee 1000rs, then soon after I got hall ticket. I attended exam in Vizag, imu campus. In June we got results and in the first case, I didn't get the B.Tech seat so choose B.Sc in nautical science. After one-month B.Tech seats are available so transferred from B.Sc to B.Tech.

Everyone is highly qualified faculty in our college, Everyone experience in sea life chief engineers and captains, and also we have visiting facilities, weekend classes, friendly facilities. They interact with students and encouragement is always at top
