BIT MESRA - AN UNDERRATED COLLEGE

I choose the best branch of this college that is Computer Science and Engineering because it's none other than Placements. NO DOUBT you get what you deserve after graduating from this Premier Institute. The faculty here are highly qualified most of them are doing their Ph.D. from IITs and very good reputed collage . Student-faculty Ratio is also very good. The teaching method is ok-ok it depends Branch-wise, for CSE and IT branches most teachers are very good than other branches. Coming exams In every semester are two-semester exams Mid-semester followed by End -of the semester and many quizzes between them. Exams are scheduled and done at their scheduled time. To pass the exams you have to like start studying at least 1 week before the mid-semester and at least two-week before the End of the semester. For Quizzes and other stuff just before night study is enough.

Our college is mostly known for its PLACEMENTS. so No doubt you have plenty of opportunities regarding placements. Students after the 6th semester are eligible for placements. All Top product-based companies visit our collage namely Atlassian, Microsoft, Google, Sprinkler, Paytm, and the list continues. The highest package was offered by Atlassian i.e 81LPA CTC. The placements stats of the Circuital Branch is very good compared to lower branches like mechanical, civil, and biotechnology. So if you are getting TOP Branch you just join here without a second thought. In my branch, the placement percentage is above 95%. The rest of the students might go for Higher study or other stuff. My plans after getting placements are simply to explore and enjoy Corporate life in Banglore or in Hyderabad.

The only demerit point of this college among many NIT"s is its Hectic FEEs. The overall fee of doing complete btech is somewhere going up to 16 lakhs including Mess. Also, there is a somewhat 5% increase in tuition fees every semester. Yes, Various Scholarships you can avail yourself the Institute also provide GP BIRLA SCHOLARSHIP(Semster-wise) which is based on merit, NSP scholarship and State government scholarships are also there provided if you are eligible. I received GP Birla Scholarship in my two semesters which sum up to nearly 1.3 Lakh and I have many more semesters left off so the amount may be increased in near future.

The campus of our college is awesome and Quite big in terms of area. you must have a cycle or vehicle to roam around the full campus. Greenery is everywhere on the campus. NO Pollution inside the campus. The infrastructure of our college is quite good but is it also improving day by day. Recently NAAC comes to our college for the College infra is quite improved a lot within some days and They accredited this time an A GRADE from a B grade in past. Social Life is pretty awesome and you can roam around with your friends anywhere anytime. Our classes are fully Renovated and SMART. Lab facilities are quite good but improvement should be required especially in Electronics and Electrical Labs. We have Other Building called the R&D building for CSE AND IT branch labs. The Computer LABS of the R&D building are best. Now coming to clubs yes there are plenty of clubs are there in our college depending on your interests you can join anyone. you can join more than 1 club with no restriction on the number.

The admission process for our college is the same as the NIT + IIIT +GFTI system through JoSAA and CSAB counseling. One should have at least 95 Percentile in JEE MAINS for getting a seat in BIT. For grabbing a seat in BRANCH LIKE CSE AND IT you must have a percentile >= 97.5. After getting a seat from counseling in the online mode admission process is quite very simple and smooth. The student has to contact the ERP Cell and fill up all details. In offline mode, you have to come to campus with your guardian and have to report the admission office in the main building of the college.
