This university's infrastructure is very beautiful and its campus spreads over 17 acres they provide 3 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls and In this university's faculty members are very educated all teachers grab a (PhD). And teachers are friendly to each student and they always help students in every situation

Placement Experience

From the 5-6 th semester every student is eligible for campus placement So many companies visit this university like Paloalto, Infosys, Wipro, google, amazon, Oyo and so on. And its average package is 5-6 lpa and the highest package is 40 LPA every student placed in this university that they don't have any backlogs.

Fees and Financial Aid

So I m a student of B.E-CSE I know only the fees for this course. In this course, you paid 160000 years for your studies and 66600 for your hostel, mess, laundry etc and in university, they do not provide any scholarships to anyone

Campus Life

Till now there is not any fest organised by the college but I'm sure they will. There are a lot of books in the library. We can go find whatever we want to read. For sports, our college has provided us with a sports club. There we can play any game we want. Many clubs in our college e.g. IEEE, CSI and many more

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel, they provide a Bed, matric, almirah, study table, book rack, and cooler for Summers and On every floor, they provide an oven, induction etc. In this university mess food is average. If you take a hostel at this university you registered through an online site its name is the hostel the university provides. PG is also available near the university if you want.

Hostel Fee: INR 66600 per year

Admission

You take admission only on the basis of the class 12th mark. You want only a 60% mark in your 12th so you take in this university. Chitkara provides all the courses that you want and it provides 100% placement for every student who doesn't have any backlog its average package is 5-6 LPA and the highest package is 40lpa. 500+ companies come for recruiting the student at this university

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi. I got a confirmed admission from many colleges like BML munjal university, GNA university, Chandigarh university, etc. I chose this college over other because it was not too costly and crowd is less compared to other private universities.
