Honest review

As the growing industry of It sector, everyone wants to become a part of it. That's why most of us want to complete our btech in the field of computer science to be more perfect for job roles in IT sectors. That's why I choose computer science.. Talking about our faculty is one of the best according to me. Their teaching skills are amazing our HOD is sir is just awesome he is indeed a Qualified person in the field of cs..we have a sufficient amount of faculty along with a lab assistant. Their qualifications are top notched along with our lab assistants are highly qualified they have mtech degree. As our college is under makaut. We have 4 ca exams every semester and 2 pca. With the final theory and practical paper. Also, they gave us assignments after a decent amount of time gap. Talking about difficulties if you study well and frequently attend classes. You will get good marks.

On-campus placements are average. 4.6 to 6 lakh. I think last year's students can eligible for placements. Till now our college's highest package is 45+ LPA. As I will try to join as a full-stack web developer.

Our fee structure is from the beginning we had to pay 13k as I am in cse brunch. And this is for 1st sem then you have to pay the exam fees which was 1.2k for 1st sem. Now to get an enrollment or tuition fees in 2nd sem in my brunch I have to pay 6k and others need 3k. so nearly 12k tuition fees and 2400 exam fees u need per year. Our college students got SVMCM and some scholarships for minority students. Also, they can apply for a private scholarships if they are not Eligible for those. But our college will only allow you one scholarship. As per financial assistance, there have half freeship and full freeship. Campus placement is not that good basically Massrecruitment happens. But of campus placement is quite good some of our seniors got very good packages. There is no internship that our college provides but our seniors are doing off-campus internships in good companies. The tech culture is very good in this college.

Campus life is soo good. This campus has really positive vibes students are really active in sports, culture, and technologies. We have several activities in the college. We mostly try to celebrate the popular days on college campuses. Our annual fest name is fest ESPERANZA and our tech fest is TECHOBER which is inactive for the last 1 year due to some reason this year it will happen. And our culture and tech combine fest ESPERANZA is going to happen from April 8 to 11. we have several clubs which are highly active and effective. Sports club conducted a Premier League in cricket in our college. Also, other clubs conducted so many events. We have a weekly magazine where our photography, and creative pen club post their activities. library is good but not that big. Book availability is quite normal. We have gdsc/ google developer students club. This is effective for us.

If you want to get into this college. You must be 10+2 degrees and you have to seat for the exam WBJEE. And if you got good marks you will easily get into this college. For cse brunch nearly 4k to 7k rank is needed for general categories. If you are reserved candidate. One of my friends got admission with nearly 13k rank in the mop-up/3rd round. So you can guess the approximate rank. And for other any department as per choice, you can get nearly a rank of 7k to 25k in the 3 rounds. You will find all the application form, fees, dates and all about last year's ranks for departments in the 3 rounds in the WBJEE portal go and search. One thing the admission process at CGEC is very bad they need a lot of improvement. They took too much time. This should have changed.

Till now as a 1st year student i haven't faced any gd, interview.. I simply watched some yt videos and went for admission as these they followed the rules and i got admitted.. The admission process was not that good like others college.. The process is very slow and not organized.
