College is good but the university under which the college is isn't good.

The campus isn't good. But the college is good. The vtu university is damn pathetic.

I took KCET got 3093 ranking, I got this college in my very first round of online counselling. Since it seemed like a feasible option I took it up.

There isn't much in particular about the college to tell when it comes to the curriculum since it's vtu that decides the course and curriculum. Right now it's the CBCS scheme that is going on. Since vtu is really famous for ruining students life, you can definitely expect that here also, since this college is also under vtu.

Yes it's does, basically for the CS, IS, ECE and IT branches. The college brings in the companies bit its completely on you to get in. They even give you training but you should ask for it.

Placements are said to be good. For CS, IS IT and ECE branches. Now there's a tie up with the TATA company which assures guaranteed placements for mechanical students also. So now that's a good news for all mech students.

They celebrate ganesha uthsav. It's an amazing cultural event. It has stuff like tug of war Dollu kunitha, etc. We have ethnic day and all. There are other cultural events also Like pot breaking and stuff

The fee structure for cet is feasible. Fee structure for management and comed k is also not that expensive when compared to the other colleges. For CET it's 68k. And management and comed k is around 2,00,000rs.

No nothing as such is offered from the college as far as I know. You can apply to any government scholarships you wish.

There are excess of girls in CS department. There are excess of boys in civil and mechanical departments. There are students of all economic status. Most of them is middle class and upper class..

The boys hostel is on campus. The girls hostel is in JP nagar. But there's college bus for the students to and from college for the girls hostel students. The food is average not bad.

I am not much in touch with any of the alumni. But apparently the alumni is pretty good.

You have one internals every month for the first 3 months of a sem. That is actually there in all colleges. You have one lab internals, in CS department it's actually 2-3" lab internals. Then you have your sem end exams. Then after months of time you get your result, by then the next sem would have started.

I got in through KCET, so there wasn't much procedure as such. Just had to pay the CET fee through a challan before going to the college. Then took all my records of previous marks cards n TCs and then played college fee through a DD. There is a bank available on campus, so it wasn't difficult.

The faculty is good. They teach well. If you want any extra support n assistance, they help you. You can contact the teachers for any extra information you require regarding the subjects. You have personal mentors whom you can talk to about anything that's troubling you.
