A great college to start your first college life experience with

I chose a diploma in computer science engineering because it had the best opportunities and placements in the future, as I had seen my older friends get great placements and internships. There is a lot of faculty, but it could've been more. The faculties in the college are very experienced and well versed, in engineering, most of the faculties are at least Mtech done, and I love their teaching method, they explain everything in the most simple way with great examples, and faculties are very friendly towards their students and always help with doubts. The exams are times well, not top-notch timing, but it is well, with internal exams and the main semester exams, the difficulty of the internals are easy, it's easy to score, and the main semester exams are moderately set, it gives you a good time in the examinations.

Internships start in the third semester, and there are plenty of internship opportunities from companies like reliance retail, de vagabond, TCS, etc. Which helps students learn tasks, and have a work environment. The average package is 2-4 LPA.

From the 5th semester, the placements for students start coming, and companies like Nike, Hitachi, TCS, Infosys, Ceat, Wipro, etc have visited many times in the college for placements. To my knowledge, the highest package offered by a company is 10-11 LPA, and the average package ranges from 6 LPA to 8 LPA. The placement percentage is very good, it's 80%, and depending upon the interview of the students it ranges from 80 to 90%. My plan after getting my degree is to get a placement and get work experience.

The diploma cost is affordable, as for current it is 25000 thousand per semester, for 6 semesters excluding examination fees which cost total of 2500. the other courses cost moderately, though the hostel cost is a bit high, currently, it's seventy thousand a year. The college provides scholarships to students of SC, ST and OBC castes, the scholarship comes from the government, and it gives a good relief to some students, but as for financial assistance, it isn't much, students would like to have a broken down monthly fees payments, that would be easy for many people. Though my course has yet to be completed, just a couple of weeks ago some of our course seniors have gotten placement in good companies, and the campus is still going on for them, with the annual package of at least 6-7 LPA.

An annual fest named Xplore is held in late November or December, and it includes dance, singing, skits, skillshow, etc, in which students from other colleges participate. The library has every book available for every courses there are in colleges, which helps us students get extra study materials, with a big space in the library, students read and review study materials in the library.

The admission process was very simple, as I got admission after the 10th exams, they asked me for my 10th exam admit card and passing certificate, and later on, I had to submit my original school leaving certificate (SLC). At the time of admission, it took me only 5500 and my admission was done, and I was also rewarded with a limited 25% scholarship for the first semester, and I did not have to give any type of entrance exam.
