An Average Private College

College is Average. Placement is also average. It comes under the top 20 private college of WB.Placement for CSE, IT and ECE is quite Good. You will feel the college once you move to 2nd year. College campus is not good. College management is Good. If you are getting this college on basis of your rank then you can go for it.

I had given WBJEE and secured 18016 ranks to get admission in computer Science. I went through the websites and it comes under the top private college of West Bengal. And This was the best which I can get.

The course which is taught here is somehow equal to every college in WB. As this college comes under MAKAUT. The topic which is taught is very relevant and useful regarding the competitive world. I can access the course on the college website and can refer to Intenet for any information. There is a big library and also E-library. We are allowed to use E-library during the specified time.

No, we have to look for intern yourself. The college provides training and company visitation and that is only for Mechanical and automobile.

The placement is Average. The placements of Core department is really very Low. And The placement for IT companies is about 70-80%. A lot of companies use to visit our college and do pool campusing but most companies hire a less number of students. Earlier TCS used to come as a Mass recruiter but last year Tech-Mahindra came. And this year there is still no sign of mass recruiter. while small companies have started visiting

Our college is advance regarding this. A lot of event and parties used to occur. There is a Freshers parties, an annual fest for 3 days, technical project. A lot of Rotract event under which different sports are played. Annual sports event. Annual quiz competition and a lot of other events. A lot of events happens in this college

The fee structure is really feasible. As compared to other states the fee of WB is really Low. On an Average approx 4 lacs is the fee for 4 years. Each semester we have to pay approx 40k and at the time of admission, we have to pay approx 70k. Each year fee increases by 500.

Most scholarships are provided to the students of WB domicile. Students from other states can't opt for any scholarship. and regarding Loan, many banks stay on the admission orientation day to discuss their loan rate. So You can easily get the loan if u have good academic record.

The gender ratio is approx 120 girls out of 360 students. Most of the students which study here are from West Bengal itself, then from Jharkhand and Bihar. Few students are also from UP and Orissa. A lot of extracurricular activities happens here. A lot of events for robotics, projects, and debate happens here.

our college provides both Boys and Girls hostel facilities. Girls hostel is inside the college campus but boy hostel is in the range of 1 km. Girl hostel is really very great and even the mess facility of girls hostel is great but the boy's hostel is just a mess. And worst food quality. Never go for Boys hostel

Every year some of the alumni visit our college during the annual fest. Seniors are really very helpful, They sort out our all problems.

No exams are not frequent. It is Ok. Once in a semester, we have to give 2 internal exams and then we have to give one final semester. There are the assignment and verbal tests. Semester exam carries 70 marks and the rest 30 marks are calculated by Internal Exam.

Firstly I had to apply for counseling and had to fill the form. Then we had to fill the choice in descending order. After filling the form we have to make a DD of 500 and had to update the DD number. Once the apply is done all we had to wait for the 1st round result. On given date, the result comes and you have two option either you can continue your counseling to upgrade or you can book the college and branch you got in 1st round, but in either condition you will have to visit counselling branch in Kolkata and will have to pay the DD of 20,000/- which will be managed while taking admission in any college. This money is refundable if you didn't take the admission. There is in total 3 round of counseling.

College faculty is Average. Some of them are quite Good while few of them are just Ok. Few of them had the knowledge but they don't know the correct way to teach. Most faculties are not good at English. They are the just OK type. And mostly they use Bengali in Between of English.
