Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the Computer science and engineering course due to my deep interest in Computer Technology and development. Faculty to student ratio is decent. And the Faculties are nice to students. They are Ph.D. holders in their own field and very experienced. Exams were timely and it was easy to pass If you pay enough attention to classes.
Internships Opportunities
Wipro and TCS provide internships here in this college as project handlers. They give us tasks like checking errors in this code and just doing this work and that work. They fully force us to do their work. And it's Unpaid.
Placement Experience
After the 7th Semester, the students get eligible for campus placement here. Here generally mass recruitment companies come like TCS and WIPRO. But some good companies like Deloitte, Cognizant, and Amazon. Also, visit. The highest package from our college is 13 Lakhs and the average package offered is 3.5 Lakhs. Approx 40% of students get placed every year here. In starting this percentage was high but now it's less. I wanna Pursue a master's in this after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
I guess the cost to study is a little bit high but less in comparison to other private colleges and universities. Once you register for the course for 4 years your fees gonna remain the same. You can access any national scholarship program and all west bengal scholarship and credit card programs if you are a citizen of west Bengal. Mostly mass recruitment is done from here.
Campus Life
Here there are different types of clubs that are interesting for example GDSC club, Dhrubotara, Vivarta, etc. All classrooms are fully Air-conditioned and equipped with projectors. The library consists of every book you gonna needs.
Admission
For Eligibility Criteria, you must have secured at least 60% in the class 12th Examination and must have given some entrance exams like Jee Mains or WBJEE. There are no reservation benefits in this college.
