VIT Chennai Detailed Review

I chose this course because of the growing demand in the CSE branch and AI is a very powerful tool. Talking about the faculty-student ratio there are around 55 students for a single faculty given by the college. The faculty over here is very talented and qualified. Most of them have a Ph.D. degree or have completed their master's at least. Over here they follow a term known as FFCS which is a fully flexible creditable system that is very helpful for the students for securing marks. There are 3 exams over a single semester. If you only study the PPT and the PDFs sent by your concerned faculties you can easily secure good marks.

Colleges themselves provide a huge number of internship offers to students. Students are required to join an internship company as it is a part of the college's curriculum. Many companies inclusive of Microsoft, Google, cognizant, doxspler, and many more provide internships to students in collaboration with the college.

For the placement, students should need to pass all their semesters provided by the college. Many companies inclusive of Google, Microsoft TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Adobe, and many more come to the college for on-campus placements. The average package here is around 10 lakhs and the highest package referring to the previous stats is around 1.21 crore. Maximum students get the placements from the campus.

The quality fee structure is divided into five categories fees increase with each subsequent category. The category is given by the college based on the rank secured by the student in the VITEEE entrance exam. The fees remain the same for the entire tenure of education. You can get much financial assistance from banks named as educational loans with the help of the college. They make sure of the placements as well as the internships for the students. Considering the facts the placements of this college are quite good and they provide multiple numbers of internships too for students.

VIT has a very good infrastructure considering all the colleges in India it is ranked 9th on the NIRF ranking of India. The college provides many facilities inclusive of sports, infrastructure, clubs, classrooms, libraries, and many other amenities.

The college provides a hostel for the students. The students are allotted hostels during admissions based on the requirements. There are both AC and non-AC rooms with many options for roommates. Many hostel amenities are also provided inclusive of your hostels. The hostel fees range from around 1 lakh to 2.5 lakhs depending on your requirement. Students can also live in rented PGS or flats nearby, there are multiple PGS and rented rooms available nearby the college.

Yes, there was an entrance exam known as VITEEE. It is conducted once every year. You can have yourself registered for it from their official website it costs 1200. You would be given a center and date of your choice and the exams will be conducted. Physics, Maths/Biology, Aptitude, and Chemistry total consisting of 90questions. Once you give the exam within 2 to 3 days the rank will be given and people can get admission based on their ranks. You should have more than 60% marks in the above-mentioned subjects and be given VITEEE then you are eligible for admission based on your rank. Scoring a rank up to 4000 can give you seats with very less fees. Don't worry you can still get admission if you have a rank more than that it is just that the fees will be taken more. Any rank up to 20k can give you good seats in VIT, Chennai.
