Likes

Sports activites organized here are quite good.
Campus has very good environment, greenery clean environment.
Faculties are very good and helpfull and they will clear all the doubts.

Dislikes

There are very much hectic rules for going outing.
Hostel rules are not quite good the deadline is 9 o clock .
Hostel lifts are always busy and most of the time it is kot working.

The college is promising very good placements for this course is very promising for the placements point of view. Faculties are highly qualified most of them have a Phd degree and are highly experienced. There are three exams per semester which are very helpful for the students to score marks.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a wide range of fee structures the fee starts from around 2 lakhs to 6 lakhs. There is much financial assistance named educational loan and Smt. Rajeswari Viswanathan Memorial Scholarship. The college provides many internship opportunities from time to time.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in the college and social life is quite conservative. There are two annual fests held in the college Vibrance in the month of march Techno vit in the month of October There are many books and journals available in the Central Library. There are AC labs and smart and ventilated Classrooms. There are many sports and extracurriculars. Cricket football handball badminton hockey tennis etc all are available here. In the name of extracurricular here sports activities and clubs organize events like garba night lohri etc

Hostel Facilities

The room is spacious with a bunker bed and one central table and 4 chairs for each student. There is 3 central washroom on each floor which consists of 10 washroom and 10 bathrooms. The meal is good you will get 4 times special food in a week. You will get sweets on alternate days. Overall the mess is good. The registration process is completely online.

Hostel Fee: INR 105000 per year

Admission

You should at least pass with 60 per cent on your 12th board. An entrance exam named VITEEE will be taken. The entrance links can be found on their official website. No reservation is provided for admission.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
