- Lush green campus and it is maintained very nicely
- Very safe campus and good security everywhere.
- Professors are very supportive. And the proctors are always available for the students
Dislikes
- Curfew timings for the girls is too early at 7 pm
- Girls can go for outing for only 4 hrs on weekdays.
- Mess food can be better and quality should be improved
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I was interested in computer science and also it is the most demanding field nowadays. All the professors are highly knowledgeable and educated and many of them have done their PhDs from IITs, nits, and other reputed universities of the world. All of them are highly experienced as well. There are two mid-exams in a semester one of them is an open book which is comparatively easier and the other one is closed book. These two exams have no pass or fail criteria. The final exam has Student has to get a minimum of 40% marks to pass the final exam.
Internships Opportunities
I am fresher and i Don't know much about the companies visiting the campus but according to the seniors , companies like Google, tcs, etc. visit the college. This year some students got a stipend of around 70k per month in their summer internship on campus.
Placement Experience
During 3rd year students start preparing for the placements. Almost 600 companies visited the college and placements are common for both Vellore and Chennai campus. It offers an average package of around 8.8 lpa and highest package was 1 cr for this year batch.
Fees and Financial Aid
Your fees is decided on the rank you have got in the VIT entrance exam. There are 5 categories of fees . The better rank you get ,less amount you have to pay. There are many scholarships also provided which you will get to know after joining the college.
Campus Life
TechnoVIT is the technical fest of the college and it took place in September last year. vibrancevit is the cultural fest that took place in March this year. College has a swimming pool as well. It has basketball, badminton, and tennis court as well. The cricket ground is also there. There are many societies and clubs run by the events like GDSC, Microsoft club, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel room can be booked during the time of admission as well. It is better to book the room in prior. Acs and non Acs room both are available. Free WIFI is given. There are three types of mess- veg, non veg, special by two caterers. We can choose between them according to whichever we like.
Admission
A student has to score a minimum of 50% marks in physics, chemistry and maths board examination paper of 12th. Admissions are conducted on the basis of your VITEEE exam rank. There is no reservation in this college. Application form is available on the college website.

Vit has better crowd. Also muj is comparatively more expensive though placement opportunities offered by both thr colleges is almost same
