Life At IIM Bodhgaya

I choose this course because of my interest in the business and management field which I developed during my graduation days. The faculty-to-student ratio is good and is about 43:280. Most of the faculty are Phds and with substantial work experience in the corporate sector. The preferred teaching method is through case studies, group discussions, and presentations. The exams are held twice and are relatively easy and are held twice during one term i.e midterms and finals. regular quizzes and class tests are also held.

There is a fee hike of 10-13% year on year on average and it costs about 1500000 lahks for the 2022-24 batch. There is an NBFA scholarship (Need-based on financial assistance). The summer placements are good and stipends range around 70-80k on average. The final placements also see an increase every year both in the number of companies recruiting and salary figures.

There are two big fests every year. One is our annual cultural and sports fest called Elegante and another fest is conducted by the entrepreneurship cell which is called YES (Youth Entrepreneurship Summit). During Elegante, one can witness various sports competitions, dance, singing, fashion shows, and various other types of cultural programs taking place. Star performances and DJ night are also held during the night. YES entails a plethora of guest lectures being organized by prominent industry leaders and students of the college can set up their shops and business during the fest which promotes an environment of entrepreneurship. There are tons of books, e-books, journals, newspapers, and magazines available in our library, which regularly gets updated with the latest editions. One can access various online resources such as statists, prowessIQ, etc with the library id too. The classes are also well equipped with all the modern technology. People who are in their final year of graduation or have completed their graduation are eligible for admission to the IIMs. Admission test scores of CAT were considered for admission. Along with the CAT score, GDPI, and WAT scores are also considered for the final admission. The application form can be found on the official iimcat website and registration for CAT begins around August-September. The application fees and application dates are available on the IIM Bodh Gaya website. Reservation benefits are available as per govt norms.
