I had done my 10+2 level also in this college. So in the life of five years in Pub Kamrup College, I never felt any negative behaviour from them. They were always helpful. They resonded to our problems carefully.

There is no need to appear in entrance examination to take admission in thus college. On the basis of percentage secured in 10+2 level, one is admitted.

Being a college from a rural area, the college has lots of new courses introduced. There is B.Sc and B.A. courses along with B.Voc in Food Processing and B.Voc in Software Management & System Administration. There is BCA, BBA, PGDCA too. Recently "Master in Biophysics" is introduced in our college. It is totally a new and most demandable course to North East India.

Our college doesn't provide internahip. Being a college of Goverment sector college under prestigious Gauhati University, being a non-professional institute, it doesn't provide any internship. Most students passed from our college are now well-settled and few of them are in high position of Goverment.

All the national and state programmes are celebrated in our college. Moreover, in the last of January, every year, college youth festival is organised which include all kinds of sports, literacy events, cultural events etc. Moreover our college participate in many inter college tournaments and participate in various competitions like drama, quiz, music, debate, story writing, cartoon drwaing etc.

As it is a college in rural area of Asaam, the fee structure is quite feasible while courses like BBA BCA B.Voc are self financed course. Yearly admission fees of B.Sc and BA are around 4000 to 7000. While the tution fees is freed for girls. For the students of Higher Secondary, the fees are around 4000 to 6000 in Indian rupees. Fee of B.Voc is around 12000 while the monthly fee is around 2000. BBA BCA fee is around 12000 while the total course fee of Master in Biophysics is 1,40,000.

College directly doesn't provide loan through bank. But students passed out the ad-on course "Diploma in Organic Farming and Food Harvesting" can avail loan by NABARD.

Already mentioned the Q8 that our college provide right opportunities to the talent. They respect talent and skill. All the national and state programmes are celebrated in our college. It is currently providing Girls' hostel only while the project for Boys' hostel is raised and authorised. Girls hostel rooms for 2, 3 or 4 residence. There is uninterrupted power and water supply. There are many rental rooms available near the college. The monthly rent starts fron Rs. 700 to 2000 per room. Some of them provide extra kitchen and some don't. There are PG available also with monthly fee around 4000 rs. A few private hostels are being constructed.

The Alumni Cell of our college is quite helpful to students and their problem. Most of the alumni members often visit the college and discuss about the problems faced by students with the college authority and college studsnts union.

The labs are quite modern and cleaned. All the required equipments are there for lab activity. There is also a bio-tech hub where a few students are doing their research project. The new labs of Physics, Chemistry , Botany and Zoology are quite modern. Currently there is two computer labs. But a separate lab for computer education specially is under construction. After completion, the scenerio in our area will be changed. There will be many students who are fond of computer science will like to be admitted here.

In the month of May or July, the result of Higher Secondary is declared in Asaam. After the result, like others colleges, the notification was out in college website www.pubkamrupcollege.co.in. I have applied offline (though nowdays the process is online) and on the day before the merit list of students provisionally selected for admission is declared. The waiting list was also attached in college notice board and in website. Thus I got admission.

The faculties of various department are well experienced and skilled with their respective discipline. All of them are atleast master degree holder. Most of them had done their M.Phil and some PhD. The new faulties appointed recently are NET passout or PhD degree holder. Quite a few finised their Bachelor degree in Education (B.Ed).
