Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course due to the demand of it, the faculty here have a piece of complete knowledge about their subject and they are friendly enough. All have a Ph.D. degree with enough experience. Exams are kinda medium but on the easier side, but the qualification is obtaining a 40 in place of 33 which might make it tough for a few students.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 497000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies give internships to student shaving above 8.5 cgpa, although I don't have enough idea on what roles they give in internships it may depend on the stream you are in. We do have capstone projects.

As per the data, This college (Vit- Chennai) has a very great placement record with a median as high has 7 lpa , if theres no campus palcements then i will try off campus placements. From 6th sem onwards people are eligible for placements. 900 compaies visited and took students on average 8 lpa. Heigest was 1cr+. My plans after getting a degree is getting placed in a good company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees here are divided into 5 categories ranging from 1,97,000 to 4,97,000 a year. Here getting an internship is easier as the college gives you ample opportunities to secure an internship. The college also gives financial assistance to a few students whose per annum income is less.

Campus Life

Here the annual fest is called Vibrance(Conducted in Feb) and the tech fest is called Technovit(conducted in Sep), The library here is hugee, It has almost all the books you want , in classrooms you will get smart board with a projector and Ac in labs. There is ample number of extra circular activites going around the campus all the time. Though there are manu clubs, some of them are gujrat litreary association, GDSC club, animation club.

Admission

To be eligible you need to get 65% in boards, To apply in vit you need to fill viteee form and pay the fees which are roughly around 2k. Reservation is not provided and form can be found on their site. Any improvement can be making the viteee exam a little bit more trasnparent. Generally the cutoff is till 42k in cse uptil cat-5.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains.
