Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The main reason of mine for choosing this course was that I was very much interested in medicines and more of it I was interested in the manufacturing of medicine and going into the Pharmaceutical industry so that I can get more knowledge about medicines. The faculty of our college is very good, all the teachers are experts in their subject and almost (95%) all of them are doctorates. The supportive and loving nature towards students is remarkable. As I already said that almost all of our professors are PhD holders and their teaching methods are very good they always make us understand every concept very well and encourage us to actively participate in both academics and extracurricular activities. The university exams are conducted at the end of our semester, but from previous semesters we are facing that the duration of the semester is getting very short, our 6 semester was of only 3.5 -4 months.

Internships Opportunities

4

Right now I am in the sixth semester and currently, there is no placement round for us our internship will start in the mid of June upto the mid of July. Currently, we are not involved in this kind of projects

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was the same throughout the course. Currently, I am in the 6th semester so I sit in placement rounds yet, but this year a lot of companies came and many of our seniors have got placed. The companies that came this year have offered the highest package of 6 LPA

Campus Life

2.5

Our college regularly organises cultural events and tech fests like the biggest cultural event of our college is parivartan which is conducted in November. Almost every book of our requirement is available in the library but I think they're not that many journals available in the library. The classrooms are good but sometimes we face some lighting issues. An athletic meet and other sports competitions are organised regularly and much emphasis is given to extracurricular activities like project making, poster making, GDs, Depates, etc. are conducted on regular basis. There is a confession page in colleges in which the students who want to express their feelings can write down a confession.

Admission

There are no such eligibility criteria for admission but at least you have 60% marks in your senior secondary examination. I have taken admission through offline mode only but if you want to fill online admission form then you can find it on College's official website. I have not availed of any kind of reservation benefits, but there are some scholarship benefits to SC and ST category students. If I talk about the admission process, it is already very good but thinks that there should be minimum eligibility criteria of 70% marks, so that more eligible students can get admission to the college rather than those who don't deserve that.

Other Applied Colleges

Chitkara University - [CU] | Bachelor of Pharmacy [B.Pharm]

Almost same facilities I was getting in another college but at at half of the cost so I have not opted chitkara University because of its high fee structure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The inclusion of laboratory work industrial visit seminar activities also influenced by decision to choose course. However some units feel outdated and could be revised to match the latest industry standards . The schedule is very usually mangable though sometimes exams field tightly pack overall the difficult level is moderate and support proper learning rather than rote memorization.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This aligned with my dream of staying intact with medicine as the main part of curriculum but in an entirely different way . You get to learn about how it's discovered, designed, undergoes different preclinical , clinical trials ,manufactured , and then distributed under the related ethics, laws and regulations . You cannot wholely depend on faculty for your training for next entrance exam but need to put extra efforts to get by yourself and practice harder for GPAT. The faculty teaches as per the PCI guidelines for IKGPTU examination.

Honestly .. in our course there is very low chance of placement.. if anyone get offer letter .. that is around 12-17,000 per month which is very less and no one can go for this job. In the last 4 years in our campus famous company visits and also provide 4-5 lakh package. but currently there is no one visit and providing placement ... in future i can't say anything... that time changes and company visiting our campus
