Facilities are much much better than other private and government colleges.
Faculties are helpful and very serious about studies and other research of students.

Dislikes

In campus construction is still going on because of that I find it hard to study because of the noise

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose mechanical engineering because I developed an interest in machine design after 10th. They provide 1 faculty for 50 students. All faculties they provide are PHD scholars. There are 3 exams in each semester. The core branch theory subjects are pretty difficult to pass.

Class Size: 1300Course Fees: INR 195000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college provides on-campus internships at the end of 3rd year of your engineering course. There are lots of companies coming up with opportunities to provide us with. There are paid and unpaid internships both are available.

Placement Experience

The placements of mechanical branches are average. If you are taking CS or IT then it will be no problem. The college provides campus placements but for mech the average is low. So if you didn't get the job on campus you should try outside by own yourself.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are in 1st category then you will have 195000 RS fees per Year that include 2 semesters. They provide scholarships for 9cgpa students. They have a 100% campus placement record. Also, they provide internships during 3rd year.

Campus Life

You will not able to enjoy much due to their academic schedule. But you will have pretty much yearly events to participate in and enjoy. There are so many clubs including technical clubs, cultural clubs, and official college clubs that organised events and hackathons.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are bearable. It costs around 150000 RS and includes a hostel and a mess. You will have various choices to choose from for hostel registration ac , nac , 2,4,6,8 bed rooms are also available.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

You should give the VITEEE exam to get college admission. The application form you will get on the official website of the college. There is no reservation in the college. Application fees are 1200 rs. It may differ if you are NRI.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
