Not good but not bad. If possible try to go for vit Vellore rather than vit Chennai.

I choose the CSE course because it's booming right now and I think the future is software and of course good salary everyone chose CSE as their first preference and I just went with the flow. Above avg faculty and as you know there are always who are bad btw you can choose the faculty you want for every semester based on the previous semester's gpa and attendance. in vit the student ratio is always high as everyone knows. The teaching methods are ok I think. They won't teach you everything you have to learn by yourself that's what college is. No one tells you this or not you have to take care of yourself. Here vit term completes very quickly like btw 4 or 5 months a semester will complete and a lot of syllabi will be covered and even if you listen to your classes or not at the end everyone relies on youtube. If you work even a little bit like before the exam 1 week you can pass no problem but for the final exams, you have to work hard a little if you have a good cgpa.

There are a lot of companies for getting internships like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, google, Adobe, Wipro, Infosys, tata etc. We have to do projects from the second year ending onwards to gain more experience.

From 5th sem, i think you are eligible for placements A lot of companies visit our campus major companies are Microsoft, Adobe, google, Amazon etc I think more than 60% of students are getting placed and some going for higher studies. I want to do higher studies.

For CSE category 1 fee is 2 lakhs Category 2 fee is 3 lakhs The catagory 3 fee is 4 lakhs and goes on till category 5. No scholarships or anything. but if you try hard you will get internships and through them good salary jobs. Most people won't get the packages they expect.

There are a lot of fests and events going on always. If you are free you can participate. The fest in vit Chennai is vibrance they conduct it every year according to given timetables and probabilities also techno vit is famous because they conduct it every sem. Every week there will be something going on. The library is great they have lots of books and central ac. We can borrow books whenever we want. Mostly all books are available. The classrooms are good. Sports are also a very good lot of people participate in different tournaments representing vit and in vit too. There is n number of clubs. ex-music, coding, hacking, literature, dance, sports, magazines etc.

The more money you give more comfort you will get that's all. Food is good but for the price, we are giving they can do better. Hostel fee is high as all colleges. There are a lot of pg's around the college lot of students stay there they are cheaper than a hostel.

Well, the eligibility for joining vit is normal as any other college above 75% marks in 12th, 10th. You can find viteee application on vit college's official site and follow the instructions. There are no reservations you are awarded on your performance in viteee exam only and nothing else. based on your rank in the entrance exam fee will vary. The admission process is simple you just have to follow instructions.
