Likes

Campus is good and very large area (800 acres).
Computer facilities are provided 24 hour.
We have a very large library in which there is more than 3000 books are there.

Dislikes

There is too hot weather in campus and high humidity.
Due to 800 acres big campus, it is hard to move form one dept to another.
Due to South Indian location, there is south people dominant in campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

The National Institute of Technology has a high placement percentage in all of India. Faculty: student ratio is 1:13. All faculty should have p. H from IIT and other higher foreign universities. We have a semester exam.

Internships Opportunities

Companies start coming in the month of July for 3rd year students. Companies offer various internship opportunities in the role of software developer, data scientist, business analyst, management role, and core training opportunities.

Placement Experience

We have campus placements and companies start coming in July months till the month of April. Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester in b. Tech. All the big companies visited our college this year.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have a decent fee structure for every semester. But every year there is a 10 percent hike in fee structure. Campus job opportunities are good. Our college provides various scholarships like recall scholar, student aid fund NSP AND various state scholarships.

Campus Life

We have the feptember cultural festival of NIT Trichy which is conducted in the month of October. Then Pragyan technology fest which happens in March and then the NITT fest which happens in the month of March and then, at last, we have sportfete inter-department sports fest.

Admission

Mathematics stream in 12th standard and 75 percent in higher secondary standard. Jee main rank should be up to 20000. Reservation benefits are provided for SC, St and Once category, and women. The admission process should be online.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.
