This college has been more like a home and family to me. It truly brings out the best in an individual and helps one realise their potentials. The college teaches us beautiful life lessons which enables us to become better humans. With the best quality faculty teaching the students, the teachers at SJCC go beyond teaching and are more like a friend who guides you, helps you and inspires you to follow your dreams and passions. It is the place where friends become family. It is truly a home away from home. SJCC has given me memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. This institution has not just given me a degree but it has transformed me to an individual who is ready to face the world with confidence and grace.

No entrance exam specifically. The entrance depends on the marks you score in your 12th std. I had scored 91%. I opted for this particular college because it is one of the best college in Bangalore for Commerce and also because it is a college which helps to bring out the best in a student be it academically, or in sports or in cultural events.

The course curriculum is really good. We get to learn all the important subjects needed in commerce studies like Accounts,Stats,Banking,Taxation Economics,etc. We get an overall view of various subjects. In the final year we are allowed to select our electives in the field of our choice like either HR, Marketing,Finance or operations.

Yes my college does provide internship. Top Companies like Goldman Sachs come and hire interns from our college. The stipend paid by Goldman Sachs is around Rs 30,000 for two months. The interns gain a good work experience and get to understand corporate life at a young age.

The placements and job opportunities are really good in SJCC. Many top reputed companies come and hire students from this college. I am not sure of the details of the packages offered. The following are few companies that do come- Goldman Sachs Deloitte KPMG E&Y Verity Target ANZ DE Shaw

There are cultural and management fests held all through the year in this college. The fests range from small intra college fest to a large scale inter college and national level fests. The fee structure is not very expensive. It is very affordable. Since this college believes in giving back to society in the form of education, they sponsor and help many deserving not well to do(Financially) students too. So the fees is affordable for B.com. BBM course is a little expensive when compare to B.com. I do not remember the details of the figures exactly,

Yes our college does provide Scholarships to deserving candidates who do well in the fields of academics, sports etc. I don't know the exact amount of scholarship, but I do know the college recognises hard working and talented students and help them through scholarships.

Campus life at Josephs is amazing. Every student gets equal opportunity to showcase their talents. There are numerous opportunities given to students to exhibit their skills and talents. Its a 80% boys and 20% girls college. There are many workshops conducted throughout the year. There are also global exchange programs offered by college. Swansea college London and other international global student exchange programs are also offered.There are multiple class trips and Industrial visits conducted all through the year.

There is no hostel facility in this college. The students who come from other cities and towns generally find a PG to stay. Since the college is located in central Bangalore, there is no difficulty finding a place to stay. There are also many PG's close by to college itself.

The college seniors and alumini are very helpful. The alumini association is very active and keeps conducting meetings and helps in various activities of the college all through the year. The alumini also visits and helps in placements process too.

The exam structure is quite balanced out. You have a good time frame for your CIA's and projects. The Mid Semester covers half of your portions, so that your kind of well prepared for your End Semester. The students are given study holidays before the end semester so that the students can prepare and score well.

Once you get your 12th std marks, you can fill in the admission form and submit it back to the college. I went to the college and directly got the admission forms, but presently online forms are also available for candidates. The result of the short listed students was put up on the college notice board within two days. After which there was a final interview in the college.

The faculty in the college are brilliant both in terms of qualifications and in personality. They are super friendly and approachable and are always willing to help the student at any time. They become more like a friend and help to make college life even better. They are very supportive and help the students achieve their goals.
