Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because it provides exposure to higher mathematics and computer science as well. The faculty here are highly qualified. Everyone has PhD degree and higher than that degree. Midterm and end-term examinations are held per semester.
Internships Opportunities
Microsoft offered a software engineer and data science role, the stipend is 1.25 lacs per month. Google offered a software engineer and data science role for 1 lacs per month. De Shaw offered a software engineer role for a 2 lacs per month stipend. Uber also offered a software engineer role.
Placement Experience
Placement is good here with the highest package 1.5 crores per year and the average package is 40 lacs per year. A company like Microsoft, Google, JP Morgan, uber, zomato, and amazon offers job. I also got my internship opportunity from Disney plus Hotstar for software engineer role
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are a little bit on the higher side but I have to say it's worth it. It's almost 220000 per year. But placement is also good so it's worth the price. People can get scholarships also. If someone has a family income of less than 1 lakhs then their fees are just 36000 per year and for below 5 lakhs family income, their fees are around 70000 per year.
Campus Life
There are many more fest here. Mainly kashiyatra is our cultural fest, Spardha is our sports fest and Technex is our technical fest. It's quite nice and overwhelming to feel such a great fest with a great cultural night. Many stand-up comedians like anubhav singh bassi and zakir khan attended our cultural fest which we really enjoyed it
Hostel Facilities
Mainly our rooms are for 2 student and each student get their basic amenities. As our hostels are pretty old one can experience mesmerizing garden view. Meal quality is very nice. We get various option. Dinner is my personal favorite. Registration process is not very tough we just have to submit our mess fess receipt to our respective hostel.
Admission
If anyone wants to pursue btech from IIT then he/she has to clear both JEE mains as well JEE Advance examination. Which is pretty tough because more than 10 lacs students appeared for the same. Counselling of college is done by Jossa. Then we are allotted respective colleges and branches as per our rank. You'll get an update from jeemain.nta.nic.in
