Review on Raghu engineering college

College is good and one can remember their association with this in their life. May be there might be some loop holes but that may not stay forever. With every passing year lot of changes are taking place. Some were improving and some may be deteriorating side but it will help you in completing your course successfully. All the best

ECET Those who have completed diploma in order to pursue his bachelors He has to write ECET to get enroll in any engineering college in ANDHARA PRADESH.

Our college is under JNTUK till now but recently it got autonomous status. Earlier the course structure which they followed was designed by JNTUK. Now it is being prepared by Raghu educational society only. The course structure will have all basic statuary requirements according to AICTU. BUT It lags in research and industrial orientation. Practical knowledge that must be gained during the course was restricted.

Yes our college will do provide internships in most reputed companies like RINL, HPCL, VIZAG SHIPYARD etc. But they will not provide any stipend during internship. Everything should be spent by us. They will allow students only for the period of 1month or 45days.

Job opportunities in Raghu educational society were very good for computer science and electronics students but very limited opportunities for all other branches. Especially for civil and electrical it is highly difficult to go out of college with job. For mechanical mostly very small scale companies will come but they will pick handful of students.mostly those are Chenai based automotive spares. They will pay less than 10k per month. For CSC and ECE companies like INFOSYS, TECH MAHINDRA, GENPACK, CAPEGEMINI Etc will conduct campus drives. They will offer reasonably good package ranging from 2.6-5LPA. all most 60-70% of ECE and CSC people get recruited.

Usually sports events were conducted by our college in a grand way. Recently it organized a massive FEST in 2017. It included lot of events that allows any student in the country to participate. Function was organized in a grand manner that many celebrities from different streams like sports, IA,IPS officers, film Stars etc were being invited.

Fee structure is some what expensive as it is touching sky high with every passing year. As of Now college fees is around 1LAKH per year. It may be costly in fee wise but it is not following and maintaining that kind of quality in education. Management quota will be different it is much more high for CSC ranging donation fee as much as 2.5 lakhs. For rest of all it is around 1-1.5lakh

There is no scholarship facility from college side except that being offered by government of AP. Under fee reimbursement scheme. College helps in getting educational loans to pay fee and to bear all our expenditure during the course.

Campus life will be very good. You will enjoy for being there. College environment is impressive, surely you will love it. There is no gender discriminations. Male to female ratio is almost like 50:50. There will be no disparities basing on race ,creed,sex,religion, region etc. Regarding extracurricular activities more importance and encouragement will be given to sports. Remaining all will be nominal. Recently they came up with very advanced lab facilities which might keep one in awestruck.

There is hostel facilities only for boys not for girls. if at all girls from out side wants to join they have to reside with their relatives or outside hostels. The facilities in hostel were not up to the mark comparing with hostel fee. They will charge you around 60k to 1lakh as a hostel fees. The food that is provided in hostel is okay. Other than this there are some food courts where students can have their food.

There may not be a regular interaction with senior students but if you want to interact they will respond you politely and give the information whatever you want. And it is always suggested to maintain that network to lay path to your career. Regarding MS in other countries, Job nature in different companies will be known from seniors.

Exams structure was very much comfortable... Some times it might irks you taking prolong duration to complete one semester. But the gap between each exam is atleast one day. So one can study with out any tension. Labs hours were distributed throughout the week. Duration of every lab will be atleast 3hrs at a stretch. So one can find scope to learn whatever they want.

After writing ECET, waited till result was out. Once the result got declared the process of selection of college will start. We will give our priority list according to our wish and on basis of our rank through internet. After 1 week they will allot one college basing on our wish list and our rank and including all reservations. Before all this process certificates verification is going to happen. After declaring college we have to report to respective colleges.

Most of them are very much experienced and doctorates. the way teaching and method of teaching is different from each other. But that is not sufficient just they will outline the course.. None of them were having industrial exposure and very few were having research capabilities. Most of the junior lectures were out of use.
