Remarks
The college management is one of the best I would bet. There is no vagueness, no ambiguity regarding notices. Fee payment is neat. Exam results publication are spot on. Always on time. Everything is carried out based on calendar given and are always strictly followed except under extreme government or extreme uncontrollable situation.Great college. Experienced and excellent faculties. Excellent co-curricular activities opportunities. Excellent Infrastructure.
Entrance Preview
I get into the college via AIEEE exam combined with Mizoram state entrance exam. I got Mizoram state no.3. A single seat is allotted for Mizoram state. I was fortunate to be able to get the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure in PSG College of technology is excellent from Indian standard. Faculties are experienced and excellent teaching skills. A student is always encouraged and given faculty guide when one is having a good idea. Faculties are always there to help.
Internships Opportunities
Regarding internship, i do not think i can give comments. As I was a student not really giving much attentions to internship, I am unable to give comments regarding Internship.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are one of the best in India. In fact PSG tech is the only Institution linked with Industry that gives amazing experience for the student. All top companies like Intel, Microsoft, Qualcom, Robert Bosch etc are doing on campus placement. The college has amazing Placement cell doing an amazing job.
College Events
There are quite a lot of club available in the college. SOme major events are occuring frequently giving student chance to expose and show their talents on numerous occsion. In fact the college has super singers and several outstanding enterpreneurs and in fact Nobel laureate. 1) Tech Day 2) Intrams 3) Quiz competition 4) Code competition 5) Alumni meet 6) Exhibitions 7)
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college fee is very reasonable and not too high. the fee structure could be different for different students. Most students with self supporting are paying about 20,000-40,000 per semester. Students in the Government aided department pay about 13,000 per year. Management donation is also an option which can range from 2Lakhs to 10 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are good scholarship and funds available for economically challenged students. There are funds from various trust, given by college, given by student union etc.
Campus Life
Campus life is a good experienced. There are no sign of racism, not casteism or any discrimination against religion, race etc. Everyone feels comfortable independent of their difference. Faculties al reguraly available. There is a good canteen with amazing food. The best campus experienced is Library. there are more than goood books there.
Hostel Facilities
The Buildings of college hostel is immense, easily accessible from college campus.l. The hostel has a numerous huge playground, Amazing indoor stadium where national sport events are even hosted. The college fee might be a bit higher that needed,. this is the only possible cons for economically unfortunate students.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni connection to the college is pretty impressive. the college has 50 years strong of music club where alumni are taking active part and ointeraction. there are always great turn out in Alumni meet and are available to answer questions via email and seminar at college.
Exam Structure
The Schedules of exam are not hectic. The year is divided into two semester. Each semester has 3 internal exams where best of 2 out of 3 is taken. And apart from internal exams, 2 continuous assessment exam and 2 technical presentations are conducted too.
Admission
I got state ranking no 3 in MIzoram state entrance and AIEEE 4 in state wise. A single seat was allotted from Human resource and development Delhi for Mizoram. So, after councelling in Mizoram. I got the allotment letter from Higher and technical department office from Mizoram. After the allotment letter is obtained. I went to chennai higher and technical office for documentation. After that i went to college and get the admission.
Faculty
Faculties are highly experienced and excellent teaching skills. The number of Ph.d's are satisfactory. the work rate of faculties are top class. They are relentless. The guide given in laboratories, the expalnations in the class, the materials given and suggestions are high quality.
